Kiwanis Park — Attraction in Renton

Kiwanis Park is a decent park located in Renton. It has a good amount of grassy areas for picnics, sports, or just hanging out. The playground is nice and has a variety of equipment for kids to play on. The park also has a small trail for walking or biking, which is a nice touch.

However, there are some downsides to the park. The parking lot is relatively small, so it can be difficult to find a spot during peak times. The restroom facilities are also a bit outdated and could use some renovation.

Perfect dog-walking, stroller pushing, kids playing park! Theres always a family or two playing soccer or baseball.. The walkers come out around lunch time and the park fills up with great people and great kids. Super friendly and open atmosphere. I love that I can walk the whole loop while keeping an eye on my kids playing at the playground. Bathroom on site is closed during the winter, which is a bummer. The parking lot is hard to find the first few times and when you find it, its mostly occupied by stoners sitting in their cars, but its a hidden lot in Renton and I've never seen anyone...

They tore down the old main bldg that had mens and womans restrooms and a central community area tgat was staffed in the summer selling snacks and had a few tabke top ganes chairs and events. The new rest room and the water are turned off or locked more than they are on. They also only rebuilt the rest room with 1 stall. It is frequently locked. They dont maintain the sawdust around the toys so I occasionally bring my own rake to fix it for the kids safety. We are there almost daily rain or shine as are...
