Simply Elegant Bridal — Attraction in Rice Lake

I took my daughter to find a dress for her very first Jr high dance, we weren't sure what the dress code was going to be but I wanted my daughter to look nice. When we got to the store The woman Inside took my daughter and I to the back to look for dresses and then just left us to go back to the front to talk to one of her friends. She never once asked us if we needed any assistance or help oh, she was much more interested in the conversation she was having with her friend about insurance which should have taken place on her own time and not during business hours when you have paying customers in the store. I asked her something about the dresses and she kind of scoffed and said well not for a middle school dance. As my daughter was trying on dresses I heard her and a few of the clients in the front talking about how they didn't feel it was necessary to have a dress like this for Junior High dance. My daughter eventually found a dress that fit her perfectly, we had to try on every single dress in the back to find one, the selection was good but when it comes to sizes, there were not many selections. The dress my daughter decided on had a clasp that was broken in the back and I asked the woman if they could fix that and she made a snide comment about how a bigger girl must have tried the dress on and broke the clasp, that comment was not necessary and how rude. What if someone larger was in the shop when she made that comment? I paid for the dress, I will say this, I will not go back there again. Very unprofessional...

Had the greatest experience today at Simply Elegant! My daughter, I , her boyfriend and my mother went in to browse for a prom dress, really were just looking. She picked a few dresses and went to try them on. BJ helped us every step of the way from getting dresses on to the struggle of getting the off. She was so personable, it was like talking to a friend I had for years! She was honest about the dresses and what cut was best for my daughter. BJ made it so easy and my daughter felt so comfortable having her in the dressing room helping us out! Brenda is so sweet she has the absolute best ship out there! Brenda even came back and told my daughter and I how gorgeous she looked in the dresses and because of the two women there my daughter got the perfect most beautiful dress! Very poor service did not want to help my sister-in law cause it was a busy time of "season" and could only go by appointments. First of all it was a Friday the store just open and no was there it was just me and my sister-in law and mother-in law. Second she did not even greet us properly she was just rude with a snotty addittued It seems like she did not want my sister-in laws business cause she was not going to purchase a dress and did not even ask what type of style of dress she was looking for so that my sister-inlaw could get some type of ideal of dress she wants.To me if you are going to run a business make sure you have some respectable customer service and be helpful even if they dont purchase anything just dont be rude it turns customers away and makes them not want...
