ššššš I was unimpressed with the staff as well as some overly eager loss prevention employee who approached me as I was walking to my car asking me to answer a few questions and not only was I on the phone when he approached me but he did not state who he was or why he was wanting to ask me anything and I stayed on the phone for the purpose of having a witness in case he turned out to be some kidnapping wierdo or some kind of solicitor. He made a comment about the way I looked stressed out and asked me why I replied to him that I was having a a troubling phone call (not that it was his business) when a second man came out the same side of the store that I had exited from and was clearly an employee of the store I got the hint that the man I was speaking to was loss prevention I said "look I don't have anything from this store" and I opened my bag so he could get a clear look that I did not in fact have anything in my purse that was from the store or anything else that could be mistaken for merchandise whatsoever and he continued to ask me to come answer some questions and I replied to him that I was late getting back home my roommate who was on the phone and was upset because I was late for the plans I had made with her and I asked him again why he wanted to talk to me I just showed him I have nothing to hide I have not done anything wrong and I took nothing at this point I was getting pretty upset with him he then looked at my face and said "why are you all sweaty what is wrong with you?" I was apauled as if the fact that I had tried on a few pairs of pants in the store most of which were frustratingly to small and were a pain to get on and off and the store was comfortably warm of coarse I had began to prespire a bit I was dressed heavily with the cold weather and i was in a heavy jacket so I don't see how that was an issue that was any of his concern but since he was loss prevention he should have been aware that I had been in the dressing room trying things on and not just that I swear at least 3 if not 4 times when I was in the dressing room notvonly male but female employee as well came thru the dressing area knocking on every door even though most of the dressing rooms were open in fact as I recall it was only myself and and as far as I could tell one other person in the dressing room period so they were knocking on open doors for nithnot it was not only rude but very frustrating and distracting to me even more so than my failed search to find some decent fitting jeans and even further more when I was going to the dressing room I had taken only the clothes out of the shopping bag I used leaving the bag and non clothing items in the fully exposed seating area in the designated area between the sales floor and the dressing room for leaving carts or shopping bags so I don't think I had given them any more reason to be suspicious of me then the next person maybe it was due to the fact I was just in my lazy day clothes and not dressed up to the nine's but that is almost insulting to be steriotyped based solely on my attire and facial expressions while having a private phone call. Needless to say I will not be going back there any time soon nor will I suggest that anyone else go there either but most definitely the opposite especially to those of us who are mother's in our mid 20's-early 30's who had a long day watching the game and hosting friends and family and cleaning up the house and retreating to my yoga pants for the rest of the day then giving myself a deserved hour of lerspers retail therapy only to be harassed and humiliated by a creepy passive manager and an over zealous loss prevention guy.... And the entire time I was there not one time was I greeted going in or out of the store nor was I asked if needed help with something or finding anything. If I could I would give no stars to this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give 0 stars, I would. I used to love this store, and it was our primary location to shop for clothes, gifts, etc. spanning several thousand dollars a year. We unfortunately timed our last purchase of $15 on the last day of the billing cycle after we had paid our bill in full. We inadvertently thought we had paid the balance since we didnāt receive the bill via our email. Fast forward 35 days, and I got a call from kohls that our payment for $15 was late, and they had added a $35 late charge. I called them and explained that in over 20 years, I had never had a late payment and never received this bill. They apologized profusely and removed the late charge. However, they reported the late payment which resulted in a 70 point hit to my credit score. I contacted them and again told them I didnāt receive the bill, but they disagreed and refused to make it right. In that 30 day window when the bill supposedly came, we received more than 50 marketing emails from kohls. We didnāt find the bill, but how is the average person supposed to weed through all of that junk? I am going to keep my card because of the length of credit, however, I donāt really intend to give kohls any more of our money (maybe a candy bar on my kohls card every 6 months just to keep it active). They used to be the best for customer service, but that has gone by the wayside. Coupons arenāt valid on most items in the store, the lines are horrendous, they removed more than half of their registers, and customer service is awful. This is one store that Iām okay with going out of business based on their decisions. This was over $15 from a 20 year...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband was completely disrespected today. He decided to go shop and just look around While he waited for his car to get work done across the street and while he was looking at shoes, he called me to help him make a decision between two pairs. After our call he was approached very aggressively by an employee who said his name was Ricky. He practically told him that he needed to wrap his shopping Up and he could help him to the register. And proceeded to ask him where the pairs of shoes were. My husband wasn't done shopping, and this employee was making it seem like my husband was a suspect in a crime like he was about to shoplift. He was just innocently shopping. He ended up Finding a pair that we both agreed on and took them to the register. He was still very uncomfortable about how he was approached. So he asked to speak to a manager and the only manager available Was the ricky that had aggressively approached him in prior. He continued to be aggressive so My husband called corporate right there. My husband has aspergers and he moves around differently than others. He was also hit by a car. No one should ever be judged, especially by the way that they move around and the fact that he was treated so badly I'm surprised he ended up buying the shoes. They don't deserve our business after how they treated him. But he deserves the shoes he loves. And Ricky is lucky that I don't have enough money for a...
