An Unforgettable Family FeastOur recent visit to Olive Garden transformed an ordinary evening into an extraordinary family dining experience. The moment we entered, the restaurant's inviting atmosphere enveloped us in a warm embrace, setting the stage for a memorable Italian culinary adventure. The star of our dining experience was undoubtedly our server, Sam. His approach was a delightful blend of professionalism and genuine warmth. Sam's in-depth knowledge of the menu shone through when he recommended the Alfredo Pasta, a dish that promised to tantalize our taste buds. His confidence in this recommendation was not misplaced; the Alfredo Pasta was a masterpiece. Each forkful of the perfectly cooked pasta, lavishly coated with rich and creamy sauce, was a testament to the authentic Italian flavors that Olive Garden is celebrated for.Our meal commenced with Olive Garden's iconic breadsticks, accompanied by their signature salad. The breadsticks, warm and buttery, were the perfect precursor to the main course. The freshness of the salad, with its crisp leaves and tangy dressing, provided a lovely contrast.Sam's attentive service continued to impress us throughout the meal. He was always there when we needed him, ensuring our drinks were replenished and our dining experience was seamless, yet he never intruded on our family’s moments. The main event, the Alfredo Pasta, recommended by Sam, was a culinary delight. The dish's rich, creamy sauce and perfectly al dente pasta spoke volumes of the kitchen's dedication to authentic Italian cooking. Each bite was a creamy, comforting embrace, making it clear why this dish came so highly recommended.Dessert was a sublime affair. The Tiramisu, with its delicate layers and coffee-infused richness, was a delightful end to our meal. The Chocolate Brownie Lasagna, a unique and indulgent twist, left us marveling at the creativity of the Olive Garden kitchen. In summary, Olive Garden stands out not just for its exceptional food but also for the remarkable service, exemplified by Sam. His recommendation of the Alfredo Pasta was a highlight, and his attentive service throughout our meal made our dining experience truly special. Olive Garden is more than just a restaurant; it's a place where families can gather to enjoy heartwarming meals and create lasting memories. Read moreWOW, I’ve never been more disappointed and unsatisfied in the service at any restaurant than my experience last night! I knew going in that we were pushing it, seeing as it was 10:15 and they close at 11:00, but this was a FRIDAY NIGHT and my sister, brother, and two cousins were set on getting some top quality soup, salad, and breadsticks. HOWEVER, as soon as our waitress approached, it became CLEAR she was unhappy that she had to serve us at this slightly inconvenient time for her. She was an older girl, in her 60’s or so, and she was very passive (but mostly) aggressive and kept making offhand comments at us throughout the night (see below). Anyways, as soon as we are seated, she asks what drinks we’ll be having and upon hearing “2 waters and 3 raspberry lemonades” she pauses, scowls at us, and says she’ll be back to take our order SOON with the drinks. She returns with our beverages and takes our order, staring daggers and shaking her head at my brother and cousin with distaste, clearly upset as they order unlimited soup/salad/breadsticks. 15 minutes later she comes back with breadsticks, plates, salad, and soup for my cousin, mentioning to him that “This is the last bowl of soup in the kitchen.” We curiously side-eye each other as she goes back to get more drinks for the the only other table in the restaurant. As she’s walking by, I say “Excuse me, can I please have some more lemonade?” In which case she reluctantly responds, “I will bring it, but I have to make sure to pump your food out first, bud!” Unwarranted. Not to mention, the food was warm, not hot. Throughout the rest of the night, she continued to be unwelcoming, unfriendly, and bitter, even refusing to prepare a to go order of Italian doughnuts because “No, the kitchen is closed.” Very unsatisfied with this visit and will not be returning anytime soon. We are polite people, we tip generously (especially in circumstances where we are coming in on the later side like this), and we are always happy to see good customer service. I never leave reviews: this is the second one I’ve left in my life. I only leave poor reviews if they are warranted and this experience was more than enough to warrant...
Read moreFood was good but service from Allie was absolutely horrendous. I got better service from the person at the to go counter and the woman who brought our food and those were 5-second interactions. The server was dismissive all night and I was unable to even ask for a to go box and had to in fact leave my table to go find my server twice because she never came back after dropping the receipt on our table and not saying anything before she ran off. We had to wait for 15-20 minutes before she even came to get our drink order which I can understand because it gets busy but when you come to take my drink order don’t be dismissive to us. If I have to go to the to go counter because I was literally unable to ask for a to go bowl from the server that’s pretty bad. When I was standing at the to go counter she finally realized that she had done something wrong, she came over to ask if I needed anything which was the first time all night, to which I responded no because I was done at that point. When I was walking back to the table she was there talking to my spouse about me and how she didn’t understand why I was standing at the counter and that it was probably because I didn’t know how to pay at the table. First of all I had to go ask one of your coworkers to do your job for you. Second, do not talk to someone’s spouse about them behind their back especially when you were the one who was absolutely terrible all night. I would understand if they were busy but there were 2 other tables. I also get that we went closer to closing time but we’re there 2 hours before closing. Had we actually received service and been able to order and ask for basic stuff like a to go box we would have been done well before they were closed, but had to leave 3 minutes after close because I had to walk around looking for her and asking other people to help and waiting for her to stop talking to her coworkers for her to do her job. I swear normally I don’t care because I worked in food service and know how it is, but Allie giving my fiancée more service and even that service was total trash including her talking to him about me when I wasn’t there was...
