From the moment I stepped into the Ridgefield Pool, I knew I had found a hidden gem. The atmosphere is welcoming, the facility is beautifully maintained, and the overall vibe is one of fun, relaxation, and community. Whether you’re a serious swimmer or just looking to enjoy a sunny day by the water, this pool has everything you need.
The lifeguards and staff are some of the friendliest and most professional people I’ve encountered. They’re attentive, courteous, and genuinely seem to enjoy being there. Safety is clearly a top priority, but they also know how to create a relaxed environment for everyone. I noticed how kind they were to younger swimmers, giving tips and cheering them on—it was wonderful to see.
One of the standout features is how clean and well-maintained the entire facility is. The water was crystal clear, the pool deck spotless, and the locker rooms smelled fresh—which is not always the case at public pools! I saw staff members regularly checking things and making sure the bathrooms and seating areas stayed tidy throughout the day.
The pool itself is fantastic, with plenty of space for lap swimmers as well as a designated area for free swim. There’s even a shallow section perfect for little kids, The diving board was a hit with teens, and I appreciated that there was enough space so everyone could enjoy their activity without feeling crowded.
What really makes the Ridgefield Pool special is its sense of community. I saw familiar faces greeting each other, kids making new friends, and families clearly enjoying a local tradition. It’s not just a place to swim—it’s a place where people connect and enjoy summer together. That warm, welcoming spirit is something you can’t manufacture.
Overall, the Ridgefield Pool exceeded every expectation. It’s clean, safe, fun, and run by people who truly care. I can’t recommend it enough and will absolutely be coming back again and again. Whether you’re a local or just visiting the area, a day at this pool is a...
Read moreRidgefield Pool is a very interesting place to stay for a swim in a really hot day, or spend time with family or friends. For years that I have been visiting the Ridgefield Pool I started noticing how the people that work there, or just visit the pool are reflecting the whole beauty of life itself. Starting from the kiddy pool you can observe the how newly created life starts to develop and discover the outer world, and as well havig fun with their mothers and fathers. The main pool grabs the attention of kids and teenagers that are still enjoying the privivliges of being a kid with a lot of energy and preparing for adult life while still being able to discover new, and recognize old lessons that life is giving them. Not only life, but fathers and mothers teach such simple things like catching the ball, or swimming are great examples of such lessons. It always brings the satisfaction to watch how many things are happening in the pool that are litttle to us, but big for them. Finally, there is the Top Pool that allows only people from 16 and older. The main auditory of that pool are eledrely ones who lived through lots of unforgetable feelings and situations that are now passed to their friends as incredible stories, lots of which could become best-selling books or movies. Let's also not forget about the staff of the pool which is always ready to rescue, maintain, and secure the Ridgefield Pool and it's visitors. Just looking at such simple thing as a pool, you still can find the beauty in it's details. Ridgefield Pool is a great place for your body to progress in swimming, share your own life-stories, and discover the new things around. I hope after reading this comment you will start look at this plays from another point of view. The...
Read moreRidgefield Pool Management, I've been a homeowner and have lived in Ridgefield since 1985 this was the first year we joined after being members of a neighboring municipal pool for many years. We were presently surprised how beautiful the grounds were and how pristine the water was, insuring it was clean and safe for everyone to enjoy.. Thumbs up to Tommy the gentleman I soke to who is responsible for maintaining the water quality. You can clearly see the pool management takes pride in providing the residents of Ridgefield a wonderful place to relax and enjoy with there family's and children. This includes the support staff, from Linda your Asst. Manager who walked the grounds on a regular basis making sure everything was to the membership's liking, including answering questions in a professional courtesy manner. As a first time member we sure had a lot of questions, which included the rules, times of operation, etc. The life guards were also extremely friendly and pleasant, this includes a gentlemen named Anthony who would check us in at the upper pool. I can say my wife and I are proud to be new members of the Ridgefield pool and are looking forward to many more years relaxing at the poolside. Last but not least the Mayor and Council who also provide the necessary support. Keep up the great work..!!
Thanks for a wonderful first year experience..!!!!
