Freshway Produce — Attraction in Ridgeland

These people are so nice and helpful! Always there to lend a helping hand or point you in the right direction, name a plant or anything. Every year, time after time, I always leave with healthy plants I don't have to worry about. No diseases or weak seedlings. I've NEVER had a plant die on me from Freshway! You more than get what you pay for! They have the cutest things for the yard there. The plant stands I've bought are the good kind- heavy and made to last. Oh, and they have a wonderful selection of fresh veggies!! Then, they have full sleeves of peas and butterbeans and more if you hate to shell or grow your own. The honey is excellent. They've got all these hard to find bottles of stuff: bbq sauce, dips, jellies and jam, special chips and handmade food items. Door wreaths and cute little signs...Just go check it out....there's something for everyone. LOL. My only fuss is they don't sell trellis's of any kind. I'd go broke if...

very rude and belligerent workers. i don’t know if they’re racist or what but the way they look at you vs how they smile and communicate with a white lady or man that comes up to them definitely shows that it’s most likely the case. you tell them that something is burnt and ask for either a refund or a trade out and they stare at you and ignore you while shaking their head. the bag of glazed pecans was still very clearly full and both the WHITE lady and WHITE man at the register were very dismissive and refused to help and shrugged us off. just as how when we first went up to pay the faces completely changed from the smile to a stern look. never will visit this...

I’ve passed this place countless times but never took the time to stop. I guess because I have a garden each summer. But they do have much more than fruit and vegetables.

I stopped by today because my cousin needed a ride to run errands and this is where he purchases fresh and frozen vegetables.

I was very impressed with quality and reasonable prices. And all the employees that I encountered were very friendly and helpful.

I purchased, peaches and sweet potatoes for my elderly neighbor. I also bought local honey. I highly recommend here especially if you like watermelons. They are huge...
