I went here for the first time last month. I came out to help my daughter wash the 17 loads of laundry she had after having a washer hose pipe burst in her home. I believe it was the owner who was super helpful. She changed my money over for me and directed me to the biggest washers. Halfway through my wash, I realized I didn't have any hangers, so I asked if they had any metal ones. She told me that it was cheaper to go around the corner to the Dollar Store and buy a pack of plastic hangers for a dollar. I explained I was here from out of town and didn't know where anything was, and she politely walked me outside and showed me where to go. In fact, there was a family that came in and the son (11ish) was holding a very small kitten they had just rescued, and no one said a negative word to him about having the animal in there. If anything I saw one attendant come over and love on the animal, which definitely got my vote as I'm a huge animal lover. Th facility was immaculate and smelt pleasant, I saw the owner and attendant sweeping the floors, keeping the facility nice, cleaning out the lint traps multiple times, wiping the outside and cleaning the washers and dryers after every customer and inspecting the soap dispensers. The restrooms were clean, I saw complementary coffee for customers, and compared to some other laundromats no one attempted to stop me and tell me that it wasn't permitted to remove any metal laundry bins from the laundromat, after I had placed all my folded and hanging laundry into the metal wheelie bin to push it out to my vehicle and return it when I was finished. I would highly recommend this place, even on the days when the dryers are free as it's not overly busy, there is no time limit as to how long the dryers may be used, how many dryers you may use or how many times you may use them. You get more bang for your buck and as a single parent, every penny saved helps in...
Read moreThey lock the doors an hour and a half before closing time at 11pm, while the lit up sign in the parking lot states it is open 24 hours. I witnessed an attendant rant when a customer used the restroom after she cleaned it around 10:30. She yelled, and threw the broom to the floor like a cave man, while cussing.(I had my two children with me) Then she red faced rapidly walked in that customers direction. I'm not sure if she said anything to him, as I was on the other side. It was about 10 minutes til close, and myself and my children were the last ones there, this attendant say right next to us, and stared us down as we loaded out baskets in the cart to take to our car. At 10:58, she said its11! I said you see I'm loading the cart to take to my car, we are on our way out. Then I said she was being rude, and asked for her name, she refused. Then she said, I was drunk, and she smelled alcohol on me, I told her I didn't appreciate her accusations, and her behavior in front of my kids. I also told her she should find a job she likes, and it might improve her behavior. I told her I would be reporting her behavior to the owner, she said "I love my job", and to go ahead, because the owner is her best friend. I then said sarchasticly, "yeah it shows how much you love your job the way you are acting, and the way you threw the broom, and treated that guy that used the restroom". Then she says "did you see what mess he made in there?"... ummm no, I don't go in the men's restroom... I have been here several times this past month, since my dryer broke, and most of the attendants have been friendly, but after this event, I now go to the Corrales laundry mat, two extra miles, but we'll worth it. If you are headed in there, and see a lady that looks like big foot, turn around, because she is there to make it a horrible experience for everyone there. I will never go there again, and I intend to...
Read moreIve used this laundromat a total of 3 times lately because my washer decided to die on us. The first 2 visits were GREAT! The laundromat was clean and the attendant was super friendly and very helpful. This last time was disappointing and made me feel like I was a burden for being there. The attendant was very rude and didn't seem to enjoy my patronage whatsoever. I asked to purchase downy from him and he sighed and snapped his eyes at me, walked behind the counter and wasn't a friendly person at all. I had $15.00 so I asked for 2 bottles said please, thank you, and I told him sorry as well for bothering him. He was still rude and didn't speak to me during the transaction. Ive never met this guy in my life so I thought..... geez... maybe I shouldn't have come here? This kid seems angry about something and who knows...... what if he just snaps! The big washers I like were dirty and a little smelly. There were only a couple of people there so he wasn't busy. But when i asked for assistance with my tokens that had gotten stuck i was met with the same angry and rude demeanor. Also he hasn't spoken to me just snapping his eyes and sighing around. Then his supervisor came in and low and behold he can speak! And politely too it seemed. I just wanted to hurry and get outta there because his attitude and vibe were starting to make me feel uneasy and upset. I don't know if he's always rude or if he had a personal matter going on. Either way... be a little bit more professional when working with the public. If you don't like working there, then maybe a...
