Got up to 3rd floor at 4:28 to pull a permit at the Building & Safe desk so the young public servant woman with burgundy hair can tell me they don't accept payment after 4:30. I JUST DROVE FROM LOS ANGELES FOR THIS!!!! Nope, no compassion. Wow, waste of time and money. Her only repeated reply="it's on the website" Then she goes on to tell me I can't even pull it until Public Utilities gives me their report. Geez, you would think they'd give you heads up about this procedure. A second trip on my dime because payment timeout is "on the website" when they can easily tell you the first time there.

Remember folks, these entitled public servants don't care if you just drove 1.5hrs, as long as they get their 8hrs who cares. Poor...

We came down to this city hall for the permitting, the building was very close to freeway off-ramp. There are plenty of parking spaces and inside the structure. There was a checking point when you first enter this building. This city hall was so clean and there also has a restaurant inside the building. The permit department was on the 9th Floor, and it has awesome views of this city. You could see the mountains so close around you, from high above looking down, this city looked so peaceful and tranquility. The City of Riverside does not care about its citizens. They recklessly allot public resources to places they need not be. The people are in a state of panic, stress, negative feelings associated with the world around them.
