The one worker I dealt with didn't seem to want to be there. Not very friendly at all. Went there the 2nd day of my stay at the Hotel Roanoke around 6:15 am to order food. The worker told me the oven wasn't ready yet and it would be 20 minutes before I could order food. What? They open at 6am, should the oven not be ready by the time they open? Went there the 3rd day to order food and was told by the same worker they ran out of food. This is the only time she smiled as she broke the news to me. Really? Out of food? I was staying at the hotel for 3 days for a very large conference. Did the manager not see the need to order food in anticipation of this large conference with lots of hungry people? Read moreCoffee was fine. The blt bagel was horrific! Toasted, put together then microwaved until sparks came off it. After 7 minutes it had lost enough molten-esk temperature to try it. The bagel was, as expected from a microwave, hard and un edible. So, disassembling this Chernobyl bisket.. Come to find the bacon is raw. Somehow it did not absorb enough radiation to cook.
