Walked in and the decor was kind of cool, brick walls and such, the restaurant was empty with all staff talking at the bar which is right at the front door - alright, the place is empty don't blame them too much - the girl at the door who seated us was dressed in a pretty but plain dress and was very kind. We were seated in the second of 3 levels in the empty restaurant - still fine, there were no small tables by the bar on the first floor - our waiter wore shorts, no name tag, and was very quiet, being quiet I understood and didn't hold it against him and he was polite and helpful. The chairs and tables had chips on them (wood chips not the food)
We got our food and I ordered "the basic" which is a burger with lettuce and tomato, I asked for ketchup and it was brought in a plastic cup - chips were the forced side order so it was obviously for the burger. I ate the burger and it was dry (had joy gotten to the ketchup yet). To test how dry it was I had to squeeze it to about 1-3mm thick before I saw a couple tiny bubbles for a split second. It was only edible because of the ketchup that I added. I ordered it medium well because I feared the staff just wanted to talk so they might rush it and undercooked it - this was way overcooked. It was all one color which was basically black, it was obviously cooked on a flat top grill and pressed which made it loose all of its juice and flavor.
The chips were alright - they were store bought. The drinks were slightly watered down and very foamy when they were dispensed (our table was about 5 yards from the drink machine). My friend's food I forget what he oreded was not prepared in the correct way (he made mention of this as he works in a kitchen that serves that food) and his food was terribly greasy. I do not remember the prices but it was not worth it.
I do not recommend this place from a food hospitality, or feeling. I never felt comfortable there I felt like it was a cold business and after reading about the owner the inky way this place will fix anything is by...
Read moreWent here with my now ex-boyfriend as part of my birthday weekend celebrations. The rooftop bar is cute. However, Some blonde girl in the pool area kept sexually assaulting him and harassing us. She was playing pool at the table next to us and kept getting next to him just to get next to him even though we were clearly a couple. She moved in such ways that when he turned around he bumped into her and she smiled. It was basically sexual assault and cornering him. He even straight up asked her to stop and get away from him. Like she was kinda all up on him when he was playing pool. I was in shock and horrified. It was not only sexual assault but also for sure sexual harassment. We both expressed discomfort and tried to get away from her multiple times. Her friends even told her to stop. We ended up leaving the table and pool area. While I was in the bathroom, she hunted my now ex down and asked for his number. I think that blonde girl in the romper was basically committing hate crimes against us. If I recall correctly she even said to me "you're not even blonde" when she walked by me angrily when I got out of the bathroom. If this girl does this often here, I am interested in collaborating with other victims to get her prosecuted. Women can be sexual abusers too, and she is one. I have a feeling she might be some sort of regular at least to the area. I've been in such shock and so much else has happened I haven't realized how badly this upset me and harmed our relationship. I do not know her name etc. I don't know if my ex got her number or what. He told me about her asking, was visibly upset, said he didn't give her his number, and she seemed angry at me so it would check out, but I just don't know. She seems like a serial harasser and assaulter and needs to be stopped. She seems to target anyone who isn't blonde. She was even mean to her friends there with her too. Does anyone know her...
Read moreThis was my first and LAST time visiting Corned Beef. Initially, the experience was great. After 30-45 minutes, our party arrived and we decided to sit near the dance floor. Again, no issues up until the bouncer or security for Corned Beef, that patrols the area I assume requested that I remove my beanie. I complied but after observing 5-6 individuals that also had on beanies or skull caps, I placed my hat back on. After passing our table twice, the same guy requested I remove my beanie again. I politely asked, “I understand the rule but I have counted 5-6 people wearing hats after your initial request and you have yet to request them to remove their hat.” He became very rude, utilitizing profanity and said if I could point them out, he would ask them the same question. I interjected and questioned if he was using that language with me. I then proceeded to request that he gets the manager and have the explain the policy to me. The manager came after 15-20 minutes and explained how it’s not rule from him, but the owners. I understood the rule but when asked why have I been here for 45 minutes or more and no one requested that of me at the beginning. He could not provide a response and refused to acknowledge the security’s behavior or rudeness. There was no issue with the request but the management and staff’s approach was very aggressive, demanding, and distasteful to say the least. I refuse to provide my business to a company that does not appreciate OUR support or at least have staff that possesses common decency and respect for their customers. Hopefully, no one has or will experience the disgusting...
