I would like to say that this location is struggling on almost every side of the business starting with how the current staff is treated, the cleanliness of the store…yes that includes staff only areas, and above all how upper management tries to twist and manipulate team members into doing “what they want” when it is 100% NOT Ok! Only being here a couple months during the holidays and being in customer care/sales for years of my life I was totally mind blown on how this store is run and why they continue to under pay staff and turn and burn with team members and again it all comes from management and honestly Madison being the one in charge is sadly lost when making correct decisions to create an atmosphere that is amazing for all her team members and an experience of a lifetime to bring back loyal customers who spend big $$$. Instead she focuses on the negative and what everyone does wrong and expects certain things which every leader should but when those things are not done properly, she does not take the blame but instead lights up the room(Brand app) but ends up doing the same thing she told her staff not to do…which is terrible leadership and why it is the way it is!!! No discipline was ever executed to those who did not follow what she expected..so how does she expect change? So much more could be said but this location is fading out slowly from the inside and it shows more than ever. Read moreI had to go to this store after the Sterling Hgts store called them to see if they had the fitted hat I wanted. I went to the Sterling Hgts store 1st to get a coffee mug gift that I seen online on their website. Bad news....they didnt have it. The Hat I wanted also was not in stock so the store employee called the Rochester Store to see if they had it and they did. Drove there to get it, hoping they had that coffee mug I seen on their website. They didnt have it there either. Was 0-2 for the mug I was looking for at two of there stores. But they did have the hat. So I do want to thank the Sterling Hgts employee that called the other store to help me. But my 3 star review is due to the stocking issue...
Read moreNot a great experience, took forever to get helped at the front counter. One person was taking care of the line while 3 others were trying to fix the device that removes sensor tags. This went on for about 20-30 minutes while a line of at least four people stood and waited. I continue to see this in retail stores- where I can place an order online far faster than in a store when service can be so much better.
