The Owner ruined the entire experience.
Tl;Dr - The owner is incredibly disorganized, rude, and not welcoming or helpful.
My wife and I went to this salt room based on a groupon we happened to snag and thought it would be a nice experience together.
Upon walking into the establishment we checked in and we had to figure out ourselves to fill out the waivers sitting on the counter. She asked us to have a seat and wait while the previous appointments finish their time. Which we did arrive 10 minutes early.
After the group began to leave she started handing out footy sleeves and asked people to take their shoes off. She completely skipped over me. People began lining up in the hall to go in but she told (notice I said TOLD) us to sit down and wait. The group we were supposed to be with went in and my wife and I were left in the lobby still waiting. after a few minutes go by she said she thought we were waiting to pay and to go into the room.
We get into the room and even on the site and on the phone they tell you to make sure to wear something comfortable. So i wore my sweatpants and a comfy hoodie. We sat down and kicked back in our recliners. She left the room for a few minutes and then came back and began giving a history of the salt room. She didn't give any sort of informational rundown for first-timers or what we could expect. She then stops in the middle of this history lesson to call me out for wearing my prescription sunglasses. Asking me why I'm wearing them. The salt room has a harsh blue light and i have a sensitivity, I explained this to her and told her they were prescription glasses. She then said that could make other people uncomfortable.... Which blew my mind. She then left the room...only to come back a few minutes later and TELL me to remove my prescription sunglasses. Which made me incredibly angry that she even had to make it a big deal like this. I removed them and went on with the session.
Afterwards, as we were leaving she again pulled my wife aside to explain she didn't want to make the other guests uncomfortable. My wife explained my issue and told her we would not be coming back.
There's probably better places than this establishment. The room was mediocre at best and the recliner I was sitting in was shredded on the arms. Between the mediocrity of the room itself, and the horrible service.
CHOOSE A DIFFERENT ESTABLISHMENT.

Read moreOn my birthday, I was refused a massage because the lady stated that I had open wounds. My autoimmune disease causes dryness and itchy skin. I have a lot of black marks from sores due to me scratching. Because of my autoimmune disease, I wear a mask, so when I entered the establishment, she immediately asked, "What is wrong with you?"" I explained why I wear a mask. From there, she was treating me like I had a contagious disease. Upon laying on the table, I asked if they had a cushion or pillow because the table was extremely hard and uncomfortable. I was offered a pillow. When she noticed that I had scaring and skin discoloration, she asked, "What are all the black marks on your body?"" I explained, and she turned a light on to look. I noticed that she was uncomfortable, so I told the young lady that I only wanted her to focus on my arms and upper back. She left the room to speak to her boss. She lied and told her boss that I had open wounds on my upper back and arms. At this point, she refused the massage. While leaving, the manager also asked, "What is wrong with you?" After explaining, she then apologized and offered the salt room. She further explained that the young lady had a fear due to something that had happened with another customer. I explained to the owner that if she's afraid of touching customers even while wearing gloves, then this is not the field for her. From the moment I stepped in the door, I was made to feel like I had a contagious disease. I will never visit this place again. The owner later sent a text apologizing and offered free services to...
Read moreI visited this location yesterday at 5pm and was excited to try something new to benefit my health. I have severe fybromyalgia so I was ambivalent about my comfort and current pain, hoping I would be able to enjoy myself while I was there. Was greeted right away by a very nice lady, filled out a form and was offered some hot tea or water. 3 other people were scheduled to join the salt room with me. We all went in, everyone got their own lazy- boy chair and a blanket. The room was surrounded in salt from ceiling to floor. The ambience of the room was nice, beautifully lit with calm colors and the temperature of the room was comfortable. The lady explained to us a bit of her past and some benefits of salt therapy. When she left we had about an hour to relax, it was everyones first time. I think we all came out pretty happy, relaxed and willing to come again. I came home and fell asleep a few hours later. I suffer from insomnia so falling asleep that easily was surprising. I highly recommend this treatment/experience for multiple reasons! Breathing better today. Worth the money and there is a great...
