BIRTHDAY PARTIES ARE HORRIBLE! FACILITY IS NICE! I never spend money on birthday parties, but this year I decided to give my son (turning 10) a party. He chose Adventure Air because it looked awesome and is new in our area. I went in person to get the party schedule. My kids were unbelievably excited after stepping inside the facility. It looks awesome. We weren't able to go until the party, so the first time my kids actually got to use the location was for his birthday party.
There is a giant sign showing where Events are to sign in. I made sure I was there 30 mins prior (like I was asked). There was a group of employees sitting there chatting with each other. The person signing us in told us which table was ours etc, and told me the kids in the party were to come here to check in, gets wrist bands, stamps etc. So when our time slot rolled around I told the kids they could start jumping etc. I asked the "party coordinator" about our jump time and he told me the kids could have starting jumping when they got there, instead of waiting around at our table upstairs. Wow, that would have been great info to know. Why didn't he tell me that when we were checking in as he was the one doing the check in.
So we jumped for our hour allotment. The facility itself is really nice. There are places for adults to sit and watch the kiddos. The kids really had a blast. At the end of the hour, I told all the kiddos to head to our table for pizza and cake. We waited and waited. No one came up to the table. I then walked downstairs to ask them when the coordinator was going to come with our food and drinks. The kids were very thirsty after jumping for an hour. Again, there was a group of employees chatting, but I felt like no one was "working". After I asked they informed me that my extra pizza I ordered didn't get delivered. My options were to just keep the 2 that came with the party, or have the kids jump for another 30 mins and get the extra pizza ordered. My thought of coarse was, why would I have these kids jump more, when the other pizza would get very cold etc. and they are hungry now. Whatever, I told them, it's fine we will just eat what we have. They informed me I wouldn't be charged for the pizza we didn't get. (I hope not!) So then we had to wait for the guy to bring up the pizzas, I couldn't take them up with me. The kids started eating, but we were still waiting for the drinks. (I still don't understand why the pitchers of soda were not there waiting. They pre-ask what you want). I then reminded the guy to please go get the pitchers. He then asked what we ordered. At this point I was getting frustrated. But I am a very non-confrontational person, so I said nothing to the coordinator. There was no apologies from the coordinator etc, which is fine. There was one lady who came and gave me 2 cards that will let us come back and jump Mon-Thurs for one hour each. However, I didn't feel she was that sorry. I have worked many customer service places (including DisneyWorld), and if there was any kind of mistake I would make sure the customer knew that the company was sorry. The whole party part of Adventure Air really needs some work done. I hope the managers read these reviews.
The facility itself is very nice. I will take my kids back to have fun. Especially when it's super hot in the summer, or a rainy day. However, I will NEVER spend money on a birthday party there again.
Hope this helps anyone else...

My 11 year old just had his birthday party at Adventure Air Sports in Rock Hill, and all of the kids had an amazing time. From booking the party, to walking out the door with smiling and tired guests, the staff was there to help with any questions and went above and beyond the call of duty to help make our son's birthday party go as smoothly as it could possibly go. We experienced organized and energetic team members, helping with the party, checking the kids in, and keeping them safe and having a fun in the park area. We arrived early to get the party guests checked in, and the staff personally made sure all the kids had their wristbands and stamps to get in, and were very patient and connected well with the kids and parents.
There was absolutely no mass chaos in the park, and I believe that the "refs" did an excellent job at politely encouraging the rules to be followed. I was attempting to bounce with my baby in my hands, and the rule to not hold a child and jump was kindly brought to my attention, which I was happy to follow. Also the rule to not have kids double bounce each other was handled very professionally. The dodgeball area was very well run, and the kids and adults alike had the best time. The young and ref was able to handle the crowds with authority without being unkind, and still instilling fun into the game. The way she handled so many kids being interested in playing, was beyond exceptional. There are many youth staff working, and I was surprised at their ages once I learned that some were 17 since they took their job with such pride and professionalism.
Our assistant for the party (Q!) was great at making sure all our needs were met, and even gave us extra water and cups since we had a few extra guests come in to enjoy the party. He also helped us clean up, but we did not feel rushed, and the timing was perfect for the party!
The refs who guard the gate to get in and out of the park area, did an excellent job with the rope, and greeting everyone kindly and with a smile. I felt that my kids were safe, and I was not worried that there weren't enough people to enforce the rules for safety, since the jump park was well staffed. The staff encouraged all guests to have fun within the boundaries set in place for the park to function properly and without any unnecessary injuries.
Overall, we can't recommend Adventure Air Sports enough for a birthday party, and for open play times as well!! Thanks for a fun day and may the Lord continue to bless your company and all that you are doing there to bring joy and fun to the...
Read moreThe family has been three times so far and I don't have a single complaint. The only thing that I, personally, would prefer (the next rime we come) is to make sure that we come to this place at a time during the week where there are a few less people in the building (but that's our fault, not Adventure Air sports). My kids love coming here and they always get an amazing workout while having a ton of fun in the process. They are always so worn out after an hour and a half of jumping here. There is so much to do here too. There's a zip line, a rock climbing wall, balance beams to walk across (all with foam pits below it), slides for the kids, and so many trampolines. Most recently we came at 1 pm on a Sunday and there was definitely a lot more people here this time than there was the last time (last time we came during the week in the evening). Just something to keep in mind depending on you and your family's needs. We really enjoy coming here though. It's a little pricey (depending on when you attend) but we'll worth it, in my opinion. To give you an idea, for 3 people to jump, 2 kids 1 adult, on a weekend day without socks was $69.00 for an hour and a half. Again, there is a lot to do though and that is a long time when you're actually here doing it but I just wanted to let you guys know what to expect. Make sure you sign your waivers online before coming. It makes for an easier and a lot more quick entry. Have fun you guys! Please note: for the summer, the "blocks of time" have changed. We could no longer jump for just an hour. It had to be 90 mins or 2 hours. So, for 90 mins for 2 kids it was $46.00. Just so everyone knows what to expect. Also, I took a picture that they had posted on their front door about honey bees and how they are having issues with them inside of the facility so if you are allergic to bees please read that sign (that I'm going to post along side of this review) and maybe don't come until that situation has been resolved. Please be safe out...
