Seen many commercials for Aspen dental including the 25% off implants and financial options to make it affordable so in consideration how much they cost figured it would be worth it to look into it . Made an appt. after calling them and was told they canāt just give āballparkāquotes. Initially, was a good experience as the providers office was clean, aesthetically pleasing, front receptionist was very nice, took detail to hand hygiene and keeping everything that patients came in contact was disinfected. Afterwards, was taken back for x-Ray by staff member that was not very welcoming, just seemed task oriented and impersonal to the point it felt awkward. Waited for dentist who came in and seemed inconvenienced by the visit purpose but said he would get what he was needed yet did not discuss it any further with me and walked away after he examined my mouth. Last, was sent to another staff member who was over putting all the information he gave her into the system to make a quote. I could vaguely see the writing on the computer but could see that it was a detailed itemized list that I have physically received from other offices⦠yet all I was given was a print out that showed double the price of any other location I went to instead, with no other information to indicate what I was individually being priced what for what. Also, noted was that she seemed irritated that I was not making an appointment for what I came for as she was not even initially wanting to put the information in as she stated that my insurance benefits were maxed out and if I was not getting the services done that she did not want to put it all in. From the beginning i made it clear why I had to even come there and had to explain myself for what I wanted 4 different times as if no one was reading the chart?⦠I explained I had to go through all this just to get a āquoteā so I could even see if I wanted their services especially considering how much money it cost. Then she further went on about how my x-ray that is normally complimentary in all the other offices I have been to will cost me⦠it is only a digital read out scan that comes across the computer when completed and not printed image films. All in all I would not recommend this place for dental services⦠maybe I came on a bad day and just saw the side of things that made most the staff I saw as being disconnected from making those they are entrusted to provide care for feel welcome and cared about. It is the personal experience that makes all the difference for me and to feel like I was just adding extra work for no reason when I had to come there just to get a quote which was twice what any other office is charging with no given understanding of why I was being charged that amount just topped it off for me as a bad business. On a positive note, I will say that the best professional dental office for dentures/implants I have found thus far is Biehl and Farmer in Fort Mill and for the Surgical part Carolina Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery which is only a few doors down from the dentist which is very convenient and they both work together for your care so it goes seamless. Also, another huge factor⦠they charge half the price for the same or better quality work and they are the most friendly and inviting people who are very knowledgeable and take the time to talk to you as well as give an itemized list for anything they quote/charge you for so you know why your are being charged what you are. Sure I could have pushed asking for the itemized list but when being asked to spend that kind of money why should I have to? All these things may seem trivial to some but they are the things that matter most to me because my money, my time and the way I feel treated by others matters a lot to me and I have high standards for the level of care and attention I receive..: especially when a place is telling me it cost over $26,000 dollars for āsnap inā upper and lower...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst of all this was my first time to go to Aspen Dental in Rock Hill, S.C. this was on Tuesday November 8 at 3:15. So I arrived about 3:00 p.m. I had driven 30 miles for about 35 minutes from where I live. When I got there I was told by the receptionist (Casey) that I would have to reschedule because they had an emergency. I had no problem with that. But could they not reach out to me before I drove 30 miles. Thursday November 10 my appointment was at 11:00 a.m. When I arrived the receptionist was on the phone. To show respect I sit down and didn't say anything waiting until she get off the phone. She" never" greeted me in a welcome way or pleasing in her tone in her voice. She said so rudely while still on the phone "do you have an appointment?" So I got up and handed her my paper work. She said oh I remember you rudely. So she handed me a tablet (still on the phone) in whispering trying to explain what the tablet was for. I completed the tablet laid it back at her desk. No thank you or anything. Believe I don't look for anyone to roll out the red carpet for me. But your first impression can either win a patient or the patient can leave. Always know that customer service is the key to keep businesses open. Well let's talk about the the nurse (Marcia) to begin with she wasn't that friendly either. I wasn't sure why that staff was like that. (SNOBBY) Or was it just me. The hygienist came in (Ruben, I think was his name). He was very nice and explained everything well. Now when Dr. Gregory came in it was different (not even going to go into details) but he never said do you have any questions about anything. Ok so now the nurse show me the waiting area . So now I meet Shineque she was nice, much friendlier than everyone else. She explains everything financial to me .So I asked her, who is the manager here. There was another lady on the other side of her cubicle she said she is. So I asked may I speak with her. The lady came over ( I didn't get her name) as I began to tell her about my experience with the receptionist (Casey) . It was like she didn't believe me . She's not like that is what she said. So I saw that she wasn't accepting what I was telling her. So time to go. I give them no stars. Oh by the way did I tell you as I was waiting on Dr. Gregory to come in my room there was one girl walking the hall with her ear buds in her ear and on her phone. My God what kinda business is this? Sorry to say that customer service and staff need some expertise in customer service and a more friendlier staff. I don't recommend anyone to this Aspen Dental in Rock Hill. I do recommend that whoever is the manager that in their huddle meetings discuss improving how to greet and treat customers. Casey( the receptionist) might be a good employee and gets the job done. But she needs training in customer service. It don't hurt to be nice. I worked in customer service for over forty years. Yes things have changed but good customer service should "get better" not worse. Yes we all have our days but never bring your problems to work with you. There's no time on the clock for DRAMA! A very...

I regret visiting and having dental work done at this dental office. I seriously warn ALL who are considering them to reconsider!! They left me empty handed, owe me a large amount of money (as others have reviewed the same, why would I have been different, I know, but again I tried) āChoosing Aspenā was the biggest mistake of my entire life! They financed over $3000 for my top teeth, which didnāt fit my bite at all and they still currently owe reimbursement to my insurance. I had one dentist that tried to do my immediate bottom twice. On my next visit I was told her was no longer with the company, and they would reschedule me.They did, I came back and this new dentist tried twice, each time the bite getting more and more off and not even close to teeth touching when I bite. That next visit the office manager and the dentist came into the room and slammed the door. Blaming me that it is my anatomy and that they cannot help me further. I can ātake the teeth and be happy, or receive a full refundā. I was devastated and in tears crying. Knowing they didnāt fit close at all, knowing I canāt eat and continue to lose weight. I have on recording me going up there to speak to office manager and asked if she would please just do the refund and gave her the teeth back. She said at this point you can keep them and I will still issue a refund because she was going to throw away. I said āwell, I canāt wear them. Can you please refund me. She said yes. I asked to my insurance as well as finance company, she said yes. They reimbursed $314 back to finance company and that was it. š They are delaying my dental health severely. My insurance is completely used up by them and I am not able to seek financing with anyone for help either because I am paying back the $3000 in biweekly payments.
Another BIG CONCERN! š š„ The lady named āJoniā that works on the insurance/taking payments, also violated HIPAA. I was waiting in the lobby full of people, including my spouse. When she stands to front desk and said loudly āJennifer, youāre going to need to take that top denture out too, the dentist will want to see them outā. I froze and my heart hit my feet. Do you know how embarrassing that was!? My spouse looked at me, and so did the entire room. My spouse went to the car after that, due to getting upset. Who does that? That is exploiting my personal and private health information aloud. The day I went to talk to the office manager, they had the cabinet open in view of patients/customers with patients names and information on the bins. Do not go here, unless you want to be extremely disappointed. I also believe they need to do better on other important things as well...
