I placed an online order at approximately 11:45AM on 7/16/22 at the Cherry Road location in Rock Hill, SC. I received text from Pizza Hut so that I could track my order. My order delivery time was 37-46 minutes, which I was okay with. I get another text, within that time frame, saying my order is out for delivery. Approaching an hour since that text, I still hadn’t received my food. I call the store to check on the status of my order, and was told that the delivery driver hadn’t returned to the store. I said okay and gave them about 30 more minutes, still no food. I called back once again, got put on hold and no one ever came back to the phone! I promptly got in my vehicle and drove down to the store, which is ONLY a half mile from my home. I arrived at the store and waited my turn in line. I got to the register and I told the cashier that I wanted a refund. He asked for my name and number, then proceeded to give me the food, that has been sitting in the warmer for two hours already. I reiterated that I no longer wanted the food, just a refund. He just tosses the food aside and tells me that it’ll take 24 to 48 hours for my refund and said have a nice day! Customer service was piss poor and attitude was rude and obnoxious! This is my SECOND bad encounter with this store. Read moreNormally I love Pizza from Pizza Hut. However, my fiancé and I had ordered two medium pizzas one with sausage and one with pepperoni. Both original crust. He drives 15 minutes to get the pizza and comes home. I open my box (the pepperoni one) and there is so much grease on the bottom of the box it leaked onto my bed, the pizza itself looked and tasted like it was HOURS old. The crust was hard yet the pizza itself was so thin ( I ordered original crust not thin) it had almost NO sauce and a very minimum amount of pepperoni and was as dry as the desert. It seems as if my pizza was pre slapped and sat there for HOURS until an order came up and then they had to make a fresh one for him since we had ordered two. I took two bites of my pizza and couldn’t even continue it was so disgusting. Dry. Old. No sauce. Greasy. Thin as paper. Hard crust. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. My 5 year old son who’s obsessed with pizza wouldn’t even eat it. Cried because he was so upset on how awful it was. Now if a 5 year old child won’t eat it, then there’s CLEARLY A PROBLEM. I normally don’t leave reviews, but I hate for anyone to order here and have to deal with the same exact thing I dealt with. Read moreI frequently order pizza delivered from the Cherry Road location and the pizza is always delicious, and most of the time so are their wings, but deliveries vary all the time due to using Door Dash for delivery. I've had several "dashers" come and go, some missing items, some even had the boxes or bowls leaning so bad that toppings had nearly ran off the side of the crust; and one; a year ago, actually ate half of my two pasta bowls, and then spread it out with a fork hoping I couldn't tell. Pizza Hut reimbursed me for that time, but today; Door Dash redeemed itself by sending Dasher "Shantae"! Shantae showed up at my door on time, smiling, both professional and friendly, and even introduced herself, confirmed all my "add ons" were in the pizza box, said thank you, and said she hoped I enjoyed our dinner. Smiled and said goodbye and I came back in my house with such an overwhelming sense of joy, I couldn't wait to text her back and thank her for such good and friendly service. Door Dash, this lady needs to be praised for her efforts, and hopefully, someday soon, you'll hire more employees like her, that take pride in what they do.
