This is a very cute place to take kids, I would say 10 and under. My kids are 2, 5, and 7 And they had a blast. There was a lot of great information about by fire safety, fire houses and fire history and great activities! There's an ambulance for kids to get in, a big wooden fire truck, even a fire pole for kids to slide down after they dress up like firefighters! Right now, because of Covid, you have to call ahead in reserve a one hour time slot. At the time of this review we also had to pay a $10 donation fee which was well worth it for our family to visit for the hour.

This was the cutest place to have a party! All the kids had an amazing time and ran around the entire time. I was worried that 2 hours was going to be too long and the kids would be bored, but I should have planned for 3 hours! The adults even had fun. The only negative is that you are responsible for cleaning up after your party and we had to clean up from the previous party when we arrived. I also wish I would have know how many tables were there so I could have had more table cloths.

My family and I were looking for a fun spot for a break enroute to Charlotte. I am SO glad that this museum popped up on Google maps! It's small enough that you can easily keep an eye on multiple children at the same time. However, it's large enough that it doesn't feel cramped or overcrowded. There is not a large selection in the gift shop, but the prices are very reasonable. The gift shop is cash only.

Went here 2 times, first time it was closed for lunch, went again today and the women who answered the intercom seemed to be lost, said we had to make an appointment? All I wanted to do was get my mother in law signed up to ride on a fire truck for the Christmas parade 2024. She seemed confused at this request. The thing is we were directed to come to the museum to sign up from a visit to one of Rock Hill’s fire station, which we visited and they gave us a grand tour of the fire station. This women had no clue and she wasn’t very friendly. Why have a museum that’s not open to the public, especially when we citizens of Rock Hill pay taxes to support this museum. My mother in law was very...
