I’m writing to express my disappointment with an experience I had while donating items at your location today. I had just dropped off a few things I did not want, and I later realized I had accidentally kept one item a glass cup in my bag. Wanting to do the right thing, I brought it in and informed the employee at the front that I had missed it and wanted to donate it as well.
Instead of a simple thank-you or acknowledgment, I was made to feel as though I was doing something wrong. The employee implied I might be trying to take the item rather than donate it, and said she’d have to “run it by the manager” to make sure it didn’t look like I was trying to steal.
This was very upsetting and honestly offensive. I came to give not to be questioned or treated with suspicion. I expected appreciation or at the very least professionalism, not judgment.
I hope this can be used as a teaching moment for your staff to approach donors with more respect and understanding. Experiences like this can discourage people from giving...

Unfortunately I purchased a paper shredder and some headphones from this place, which had pieces of tape across them that declared they worked, they did not. When I went back to return them I found a "All sales are final, no refunds, exchanges, or store credit" sign on the door. Since then I notice that the majority of electronic goods are simply priced and have tape on them with the statement" not tested". Why? Instead of being greeted the lady yelled saying “ I don’t know if y’all know but we’re closing in 15 minutes.” I understand that she just wanted to inform me that they were closing but instead of greeting me and asking me if I needed help she chose to express and exaggerate that they were closing in 15 minutes. I wasn’t even able to fully look around the store without the lady yelling “we’re closing in 15 minute” and “come to the check out line we’re closing in 15 minutes.” I would recommend for the staff and the lady who was yelling in particular to work on helping the customer find what they are looking instead of...
