I am not sure where to start with a review honestly. My family began coming to movement when my daughter was recovering from an ACL and meniscus injury. She has been at Movement for about a year, working mostly with Mason one on one in the return to sport program and has recently transitioned back to group sessions. Words cannot even begin to express my thanks and gratitude for the entire staff at Movement Fitness. I have watched my daughter go through and grow through the most difficult thing she has faced in her life so far and to somewhere along the way find purpose in it and come out stronger and as a better person. She couldnāt have done it without the support system that she has found at Movement to help her through both the mental and physical recovery. Through that all, my son also went through a knee surgery and to see the confidence that he went into his surgery with was astounding. Mason was right there through my sons recovery from day 1.
As far as the adult group training, I began attending movement at the same time as my daughter simply out of convenience. Little did I know what I was stepping into. The environment and programming is truly one of a kind. So many people compare their gym to being family, which is 100% true here. However, this gym is more than that. Movement is the first gym that I have been to in the Rockford area in the past 20 years where everyone is truly welcome to the family. You can attend a group session at any time of day and every single member here is so incredibly kind and welcoming. There are no gym clicks here. This gym is more than familyā¦itās home. Thatās a huge accreditation to the owners and staff for having the morals and ethics that create that...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreTheir focus is the young athletes not the adults. All the best coaches are ushered over to the train the athletes. Trainer turnover is very, very high and it is hard to build a "personal" relationship with them. I was there about a year and had 13 different people as a trainer.
Response to owner - I never said this was in the last year. Nick #1, Cheri, Mason, Trevan, Bri, Nick #2, James (Chip), and Scott to name a few. Of course, Theresa and Justin, too. I know I am missing at least one intern name. Your coach turn over is about 18 months, with very few exceptions like Mason. I didn't ask what % of your business was adults vs. athletes. So, no, I do not have the wrong place. Justin, you are the worst coach - I literally watched you stand over a struggling client and laugh at them, then walk away. This review was posted over a year later as to not have a knee-jerk reaction and take time to reflect. You cannot deny anything in...
