I had never shopped here before but since we moved to Texas and needed a quality furniture we decided to visit here. Maria Cruz was our sales rep in the store and she was very nice, took her time, answered all our questions, was not pushy about the sale and let us make our own decision.
The prices were okay, I would expect a large place like this to have better prices since they can afford to get whole sale prices. For the sofa and dining room table it came out to about 6k which is pretty pricey but the quality is nice. The table we wanted was only $1,000 but it was $3,000 for all the chairs. Makes absolutely no sense and really didn’t feel good buying it but my wife really loved it so I bought it.
Reason for the low rating is due to the delivery people and customer service! Terrible. The first delivery crew was in a rush to drop off the furniture and was banging my door and walls, very sloppy delivery and I was immediately uncomfortable and upset. To make matters worse they broke the base to the table probably mishandling the boxes. So we had to call customer service to get a replacement. They wanted us to wait like 10 days to delivery the part and just leave our table in pieces all over the floor. My wife has to speak to Brain and kept hanging up the phone on her and putting her on hold. Incredibly disrespectful and honestly I would never do business with this place again bc of him. They are quick to take your money and once they have it very slow to help you. So my wife told them to cancel the order and take everything back, that’s how upset we were dealing with customer service. Then they “made an exception” and has a delivery crew come the very next day to bring the base and put together the table.
So I would just be very cautious about shopping with rooms 2 go. Def not my go to place. They should train their customer service department better. After all we are the ones who keep them in...
Read moreDON’T BUY HERE, customer service is horrible… horrible…run if you can!!! first time they brought my couches in 2 colors, (bought them in February and got them march 25th) 1 white and 1 gray. I had to schedule for another day to bring the right color, they left the gray one in the garage because they can’t take it with them. Next time ( march 30th) when they brought the right color it was damaged… so they took it back and didn’t take the gray one, I still have it in my garage… and I can’t use the garage… So now they will bring the right one back in a week because they have other customers and can’t make room for my delivery knowing that all this situation is their fault not mine. have to take another day off from work to wait for them April 9th. Manager and a lady at the front desk said that if I want to return all the couches I will lose the $300 that I paid at front because non of this is their fault, they refused to do at least a discount. manager said that they DONT do that. If I wan to ask for a discount I have to call customer service (but they don’t do that, but I can try.) Sorry this is the first time that I do this but they deserve it, and if you still want to deal with them good luck! Many people are complaining about them but they don’t put it in writing. I didn’t know how this people behaved until I commented with friends and what I’m going through with this store and employees. I just spoke with Sofia with customer service and definitely no help, only if your furniture is damaged you can have a discount, but not for whatever wrong they do you as a customer, so now you know where not to buy and have information about this place. they can do wrong to you but they don’t even apologize, instead they fight...
Read moreI wish I could give these people 0 stars! First, thanks to Johnnie for making my sale happen. He took his time and was able to help me find exactly what I was looking for. He then passed me off to Jennifer for the financial part. She was very unpleasant, but I didn’t let it bother me b/c of how well Johnnie took care of me. I get a call three days later stating that my order will be in but all of my pieces will not arrive until a month later! That to me was a huge disappointment! I called customer service and literally waited on hold a whole hour before I decided to call the store. Spoke with the manager Rachel, the first option she gave me was to get a refund. Minding you I was not seeking for a refund, I just want what I needed and that’s a bedroom set! Then I was being transferred to Jennifer, but was told she was busy. So I decided to call Jennifer myself a second later after being told she was busy.. explained to her my frustration and still no care from her and was told she would pass this along to Johnnie and give me call. No call was made so I decided to go in the store. Get to the store to see if I can find another bedroom set that would be available without any false information about it being in or out of stock, & of course that didn’t happen. So now I have to wait a month before receiving everything when I was originally supposed to get in a few days. No empathy was given! No apology! No care for the inconvenience this has caused! They really do not care for their customers! Everything was blamed on one another and COVID! Do not recommend this...
