First the good points : Lots of merchandise on the shelves, basically overflowing. Other stores like Ross and Marshalls have been so skimpy lately (in Greenville). Didn't have to wait too long in checkout on Sunday evening. Nice cashier
The bad: The women's bathroom was awful. It was nasty with water and toilet paper on the floor by the toilet in one stall and the other had not been flushed and appeared clogged. The handicap stall was occupied so no clue on its state. Had I not had to go so urgently, I'd have walked out. No purse hook on the stall door but thankfully was able to balance it on the toilet paper dispenser (I was in the wet floor stall). No seat protectors in the dispenser but enough toilet paper to improvise. There were about 3 soap dispensers on the wall and only 1 had soap. The trash can was stuffed so full the paper towels were piled up on top of the lid. Just unacceptable. I realize businesses have been crazy shorthanded with people refusing to work so hopefully was just a lack of personnel situation but it obviously had not been attended to in a while. I would be sure to visit a restroom before coming to the store. I didn't think to get photos as I was focused on...
Read moreI walked in to return a tote bag A TOTE BAG! With the tags off but I had them and WITH THE RECEIPT! The African American woman gave me an attitude from the beginning so rude lecturing me about how the tags had to be on that she did not want to do the return because it might’ve been “used” when I literally bought it the day before full on patronizing me in front of others a lecture on a simple return then says “OH A GIFT CARD” judging me just to say I can’t do the return because it was a home goods item which I purchased from a linked store TJ maxx and homegoods which no problem no issue but the way I was treated discriminated because that’s what it was there’s no other reason for her treatment to be that cruel to make me leave in tears. THANK GOD for the manager at the home goods who received me with no issues astonished and baffled when I explained humiliated and in tears about what happened. I have shopped at this place religiously for years and the fact I was treated in this manner baffled me. DO BETTER on customer service and empathy what could’ve taken a simple and kind explanation I was met...
Read moreDisgusting bathrooms and passive aggressive/rude cashiers. If you overlook some of their overpriced items, the clothes are pretty nice. But the bathrooms are always smelling nasty or don't have supplies. During my last visit, there was barely toilet paper and a half soaked paper towel roll to dry my hands. A store associate had the audacity to look at me crazy and point at it to tell me that there's paper when I was looking for some in the dispenser. Additionally, when I was next in line, a family was trying to split between two registers and I was confused as to why the cashier pushed their register number multiple times while giving me dirty looks. She didn't look open from afar but could have nicely waved me down. She only spoke to tell me my total, and I had to reach over the counter to grab my purchased items. I shouldn't have to ask for a receipt, and of course I received a copy and an eye roll for it. The bar is below...
