Heroes & Hitters — Attraction in Rocky Hill

I usually don't write reviews but had to give this place a shout out. I'm not a collector (hubby is). I do go into plenty of comic stores with him so while he is looking for his books, I'm just looking around... observing seeing how they take care of there store ..... Well let me say ....What an outstanding job this guy has done. The time and effort 👍🏻👍🏻.....he is so organized.....all his books are in Alphabetical order... His books are in order by the name.. A-Z but the A -Z books are in order and the too, made finding things so easy and hubby was able to get a few he wasn't looking for also. The owner definitely takes care of his books. Not one book was bending while sitting on the shelf.( I'm not a collector and that drives me crazy.) He had the new books lying on tables so nothing would get bent ...none were covering each other... right perfectly next to each other, so you can see the whole book..., every book perfectly...each and every one. He handles each book with so much care, yes I was watching 👀. ...like each one was worth $$$$. He really was a nice guy too. Definitely if we are in that area, we will go back. Go check him out. It's not a big store but it's well...

For such a large storefront, there was little to nothing in there. A collection of unwanted silver age comics would be a better way to describe it, it has some, but nothing particularly good. The store looks like it may have been nice at one point, but has now been picked through too much and with no signs of caring about restocking from the staff. I encounter one man who couldn't be bothered to look up from his book the entire time I was shopping, except once to mock me and my queries about specific books. I was also subjected to Rush Limbaugh radio the whole time....not an enjoyable experience. It is a comic shop, that is about it. No great issues, weak overall selection, useless almost nonexistant staff, and not somewhere...

I liked the store just didn't love it. Had a lot of the new stuff a decent amount of key issues which was kinda cool but the back order wasn't too great in my opinion. They had a decent amount but lots of the runs were missing certain issues or didn't have certain titles at all like the Superior Spiderman which is what I was mainly hoping they had. I mean I left with the spectacular spiderman 186,187,188 which was a 3 part story in the back issues I found which was cool. But that was the only cool thing that I found besides some keys and what if comics. Not a bad store but not the best...
