KFC — Restaurant in Rogers Park Township

I'm never going to KFC again 😒. I ordered a 10 piece Honey sriracha Saucy chicken nuggets meal and a 10 piece apple bites. The staff said she only has 4 pieces of apple bites, and it will be a 6 min wait for 10 pieces. Said okay, I'll take the 4 piece,I paid $ 14.24. I received my food and drive off to the empty parking space in the lot. The nuggets I received were one cold, two not what I ordered. They give me Korean barbecue instead of honey sriracha. Then they didn't even 🙄 😒 give me my apple bites. So I go inside to ask what happened. The little black lady said we only have Korean barbecue. We don't have any other flavor. So I asked her. Why didn't you say that over the intercom? When I ordered, she said I didn't think it mattered. Then I asked her what happened to my 4 piece apple bites. She said I'm sorry I forgot then proceeded to say we don't have any more. Can you wait and I can put some more on. I said no, please give me A. Refund, you can have the nuggets back and give me a full refund. She said I could give you a refund for the apple bites. But not for the chicken nuggets, then she proceeded to give me a $1.50 back for the nuggets that cost $2.50 plus tax. I corrected her again, and she gave me a dollar. I'm never going...

So I drove all the way from KFC on Irving park and California to this location to get some wings because Irving park location didn't have any. When me and my wife arrived at this location. The employees were standing around talking. We were never greeted by any of the workers. So after five minutes of the workers bashing one of their coworkers that wasn't present. Someone finally walked to the counter and said very rudely "Are y'all ordering or what?" we then proceeded to give the cashier our order it seemed as If the more things we added to the order the more irritated she became. The cashier told me that my wings would take 15 minutes to cook and also refused to make my wife tenders fresh out of the grease. So after 20 more minutes of the employees chattering amongst one another. They finally gave us our food. When we got home we were missing many items and I must say that was the most disgusting chicken I ever bit into. The chicken had too much batter on it and the inside of the chicken was still bloody. I wouldn't recommend this trap house to anyone. Save your time...

OK, I wouldn’t normally write a review for drive-through food unless I had a really really bad experience… But in this case, I have to share. I went through the drive-through and I didn’t know exactly what to order because I had never been here before. I asked them what they suggest to feed three or four people. I laughed and said I’m sorry I’ve just never ordered from here before so I need a little help, to which they responded enthusiastically and surprise, were extremely patient helpful and fun, insisted that I tried one of their original drumsticks lol and gave it to me for free separately in addition to my family bucket order. They were so nice and so friendly and so fun and I just need to make sure that whoever is running this place knows how special their staff is because it’s become pretty normalize to be rude and short and mean throughout the food industry, especially cheaper drive-through foods.
