We found this place after a bad experience with another ear piercing office. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and the very sweet. She even gave us some sample formulas even tho we weren't a patient and I can't tell u how much we appreciate that. The office is very clean, they are very careful taking precautions with covid. They won't allow more than one patient in at a time in the waiting area. As far as the ear piercing experience we couldn't have ask for a better team to get my 3 month ears pierced. The Dr was very patient and very detailed in her instructions for after care. I highly recommend this place. It's been about a month now since our visit and my baby ears are healing very well. Thank you Oscar Pediatrics

We came here to have my 6 month old daughter's ears pierced, which was nice because we are not currently patients. No tears! I was shocked that my baby didn't cry at all. The doctor was incredible. She is so patient and kind. You could tell she knows what she is doing. The numbing gel was a little extra and it took a little longer to wait while it worked, but it was definitely worth it! Plus, her little blue flower earrings are adorable. I would highly recommend Oscar pediatrics for ear piercing.

Not worth the extra money, baby still cries despite the numbing cream and they do the procedure exactly the same (with a piercing gun, not a sterile needle) as piercing booths at the mall for example. The doctor was very patient, besides this I didn’t see a difference in the procedure. The office was very hot which I believe added to the fussiness of my baby. No aftercare kits were available, they advise to use soap and water which I haven’t heard of. Overall just an ok experience.

11/2024 Called the office to get a letter discussing an event that was never recorded and the main desk was extremely rude-accused me of using foul language (I said bologna) and yelling-I speak loudly because I work in a loud environment, which I was trying to explain. Someone called me back and was kinder, but not helpful at all. They refused giving me the letter and said I would need to become a patient to get it as they can only discuss these things with current patients. Meanwhile I am trying to get a letter discussing one reason we left. Could not speak with the doctor directly and got absolutely nowhere. Also as an update to the world-covid is a form of a flu. While Dr Khadke, a pediatrician who made an oath, was living in fear of a flu…my baby could have become deaf. The least she could do is write me a darn letter.

Revised 12/2021: I am heartbroken to say Dr. Khadke will no longer be our pediatrician. I do not know HOW a PEDIATRICIAN can not be seeing sick children-it is LITERALLY what a pediatrician is trained to do. My one year old has a chesty cough and I am concerned. A virtual visit would not allow for an exam to hear her breathing. When I mentioned she was 1, the receptionist checked and then said we can’t be seen without a negative covid test. The lines are hours long, testing is unavailable and I think the potential exposure is absolutely unnecessary. Why wouldn’t there be testing available at the appointment? Dr. Khadke, we have been patients of yours since the beginning (before it was even your practice). I am extremely disappointed in the way this was handled. Also I’d like to note that when we mentioned we would need to find another pediatrician, the response was, “ok.” There was no, “best of luck,” “sorry to see you go.” I misjudged Dr. Khadke as a caring doctor. Unfortunately I think we need someone who truly has a concern for our children-especially a 1 year old. Updated to add that she was diagnosed with a pretty bad double ear infection. She could have lost her hearing. Unsure how that would have been caught on a computer screen.

Leaving my original review as proof that I am not someone who just writes awful reviews about everything… This was based on when she was in Cranford, NJ Once my original pediatrician retired, I was looking for the perfect place to take my daughter. We had had not so memorable experiences at other offices and I wanted to find a doctor we could use for her entire childhood. Initially when going to this office, it was Dr. Maggie Anisko. I was not very fond of her and planned to give her 1 more chance (most of the older reviews are in reference to her and the previous staff). I am glad I did because she was no longer there at our next visit. It was Dr. Khadke. After our first visit with Dr. Khadke, we knew we had found the perfect fit. Not only have we been bringing our now 10 year old daughter to Oscar Pediatrics for years, but her 4 year old sister and 4 month old sister have now been patients of Dr. Khadke's since birth. I trust in her knowledge and experience as both a doctor and mother. She has incredible bedside manner. She takes the time to explain things thoroughly and answers my (million) questions at every visit. She has never forced her opinion on us as far as vaccines or treatments, although gives us the information to make our own informed decisions. Without even requesting it, she spaces out the vaccines and boosters in a safe way that puts my worried mind at ease. The front desk staff is always friendly and welcoming. I have never had a problem getting an appointment and only on one occasion in all of our visits have we had to wait more than just a few minutes. The office is always kept neat ad clean (even before covid). In addition to being an awesome pediatrician, Dr. Khadke has also pierced both younger daughters ears. It was quick and easy with minimal tears (from me, of course). I cannot recommend this office enough and I am looking forward to bringing our girls there for...

This Doctor office is cheating patients. First issue: I brought my son to do a regular immunization shot in 2017, but Dr.Khadke checked my son's foot without telling us and then billed us a non-wellness check up fee which didn't cover by insurance and I had to pay out of pocket. My son did have heel pain the previous year in 2016 and we went to see her, however the heel pain was fixed by other doctor office not by her. Our 2017 visit purpose was just for regular immunization shot, I didn't ask her to check my son's foot and his foot is already recovered. Maybe the purpose of her check is to earn more money than just do a regular immunization shot. The Second issue I experienced with this doctor cheating is I brought my son to her in 2017 to do a regular wellness physical check, it should be 100% covered by insurance, not sure why they checked my son's ear and then I got out-of-pocket billing to pay the ear check. They should know ear check for a boy over 10 is not covered by insurance because the ear check is totally not necessary at this age. They just want to earn more money. When I found out the two issues, I called the office to dispute the charges, they always give me another telephone number which they call it a billing office, the reception always say they don't handle any billing questions, all billing questions should call that number, then I called that number many times, but that number always a voice message and never no one call me back even both I and my insurance company left them messages many times. So I think that "billing office number" is just an excuse from the doctor office so as they can avoid answering all the billing disputes that the mistake they made, they just do not want to return your money and keep their cheating. After more negotiations with Dr.Khadke, she admitted the mistake wrongly checked my son's foot issue and agree to credit the over USD50 out-of-pocket fee to me, however the amount already automatically paid from my HRA account by insurance, then I asked Dr.Khadke to give me a check, but no more actions and feedback from her. Above all, I doubt this Doctor office is cheating money by doing unnecessary check up for her patients that may not easily identified by parents if you don't pay attention to the balances from your insurance account. Her office is always crowded with patients, they accept a lot of patients appointments in same hour just for earning more money without looking at the number of appointments and wasting our time, we always wait for a long time in her office, easily reach an hour waiting. So, I hope reviewers can learn from my experience, not bring your kids to see this doctor because their cheating suspect behavior. Besides cheating, Dr.Khadke is also not polite / not kind to patient, she looks arrogant to patients, seems just looking at money. If other reviewers find or experienced similar issues as I stated above, please report without hesitation, so as to avoid more patients be cheated out-of-pocket bill by doing unnecessary...

At first it was great, friendly, no wait lines, quick service, nothing to complain. But then, I guess there was a change in management or something. The ladies at the front desk look frustrated and miserable and started getting rude. The customer service became horrible. I called letting them know my daughter needs a physical forms filled out for sports, oh no problem she was just here for a physical just fax over the forms! I pay $7 to fax over the forms. I call to confirm receipt, oh no you have to schedule an appointment this is for sports physical...???.... So, fine I schedule the appointment they ask me does my daughter have insurance, I said I think she is still active with Horizon NJ health, can they check for me please??, "no we cant check if active you need to call them", they checked before, so not sure what was the issue, but ok fine I called. Horizon said my daughter was active so I scheduled the appointment. They don't check anything on their end - too much trouble for them I guess whatever, but the day of the visit all of a sudden they can check & guess what after waiting for an hour since I happen to come on a busy day, requesting to go in late from work from my NEW JOB only to find out my daughter cant be seen by the doctor because when I re-certified, the insurance switched my daughters PCP... "You will have to change the PCP and reschedule the appointment" , I called Horizon while sitting there to switch the PCP but they couldn't because something in the system is saying they don't take Horizon NJ Health so the doctor has to fax in a from... I wish I was making this up... So, then I said look I will just pay cash for the visit because my daughter is trying to get into gymnastics and shes really excited but cant participate until I turn in the physical forms. "Sorry you cant pay cash because you have insurance... its fraud".. LOL ridiculous.. so my daughter left crying. So the day of the appointment they can check? instead of saving us the trouble, us busy working parents & some of us single parents?...So I called back and I said which doctor is listed as my daughters PCP?? And they told me Dr. Auijun Wang in Edison.. Wait..but that they can look up?? ok so, guess where I decided to go?.. Dr. Wang. They got me an appointment next day, filled out the form same day NO FEE TO FILL OUT FORMS....Excellent doctor's office, convenient hours INCLUDING WEEKENDS AND LATE HOURS, friendly service...THANK GOD. I guess everything happens for a reason. Do I recommend this office?? hmm NOPE.. I love Dr. Wang treats me and...
