This complex is full of people who smoke weed in the elevators and hallways. There are over $100 in fees each month to include things like trash, trash admin, and trash valet. They charge $25 a month for parking and have now limited access to the spaces closest to the apartments to those who wish to pay $40 for a reserved spot. When I questioned management about this, my comment was denied because they don’t want anyone to argue with them. Please run as far away as you can. This place is only concerned with money and overcharging.
I understand the reserved carports are optional. I simply questioned why, when you already charge over $100 fees (including $25 for parking), you would decide that it isn’t enough money and make the carports closest to the apartments “optional” for $40. It also concerns me that I observed a minimum of 7 handicapped tags under your “reserved” parking and there are only two handicapped spaces on that side so are you going to force those that are handicapped to park in first come first serve and not allow them to park in reserved parking closest to the building? You are not focused on the customer, you are focused on how much money you can pocket. It is not a customer service model nor is it a good business model when you make these decisions without tenant input. As stated it was made by the owners and investors, none of which are concerned with the needs of the tenants!
They are also charging $40 to reserve handicapped parking spaces near the buildings which is absolutely illegal! Can't wait to hear about their lawsuit from an ADA lawyer and their explanation as to why they think they are above the law!
Also your review indicating that I am resisting change and I can opt out just puts your mindset on display.
Entry through the front gate is occasionally delayed due to someone backing out of a parking space near the front gate. When this occurs your vehicle will be hit by the gate closing. When I mentioned this and suggested sensors because my car was damaged, I was responded to with a statement about how management isn’t responsible for damages and there are signs up front. Again, they refuse to address the issues and simply spout useless diatribe to protect themselves. When I again stated that I can read signs and the point of my email was to get the sensors fixed, I was told that there were sensors and that is why the gate opened back up (AFTER DAMAGING MY VEHICLE). Fix your sensors and quit making excuses! Nothing but sleight of hand from the...
Read moreTown Center Lofts has been lovely. It’s clean and kept up with. I, however, disagree with the reviews given to Fred, the assistant manger- seems like it’s almost people who don’t live here leaving the reviews for him.
Fred does not hold himself accountable and is extremely disrespectful and rude. He does not reply back to emails or calls.
I reserved the social room with Laramie(?) on Jan 2, 2024 and had an issue with paying the deposit as the system was charging me $50 extra for using a CC. The ONLY time Fred contacted me was via voicemail to let me know that the social room reservation was cancelled due to nonpayment. I contacted and almost harassed the leasing office DAILY after that voicemail to reserve the room for Feb but FRED NEVER reached out.
Gabby is a sweet heart and has always tried helping but could only do so much.
Fast forward to Feb 2 I call the leasing office and was told the room is already reserved. I was furious because I emailed AND called the leasing office NUMEROUS times and NO ONE followed up for me to be told it’s been reserved already. The inconvenience I faced is extremely unprofessional.
I decided to go speak to Fred, never have I ever met him before and when I asked what he can do to compensate my inconvenience because HE FAILED TO FOLLOW UP - his reply was I cannot compensate you for nonpayment. It’s not about payment, it’s about accountability and holding FRED accountable for the lack of follow up and communication.
He is NOT a good assistant manager .. and to top off, I asked to speak to the properly manager which Fred says she will call when she has time. It is now Feb 12… The property manager Laramie has not called me till day. I wonder if 10 days gives her enough time to reach out to her residents to ensure they’re happy with the service that her assistant is providing for them. If I can give FRED NEGATIVE 0s I would… he’s horrible and will inconvenience you and not hold himself accountable or apologize for not following up....
Read moreCan I give zero stars? Since new management took over, this complex has become a nightmare. The property is declining—stained breezeways, filthy elevators, and common areas like the Net Cafe are often dirty (including sitting on wet seats multiple times). But the worst part is the shockingly poor management and lack of basic customer service.
Morgan, the property manager, is never on-site, ignores tenants, and refuses to handle even minor issues. Inside Gabby & Toni fail to communicate anything, my husband has to constantly go inside and ask about simple things.
Here’s examples for anyone thinking about renting here: When our key fob died, instead of replacing the battery (a simple fix), Morgan told us to go buy a battery ourselves down the street- or pay $100 for a new fob from them. This is beyond lazy; it’s outright disrespectful to residents.
Other major failures: Garage Rental Disaster: We’ve been trying to rent a garage since last year- only to be ignored, lied to about availability, and given incorrect information multiple times. Some garages they claimed were ready still had belongings inside! Emergency Maintenance Ignored: During a power surge, my breaker failed, leaving my dog without AC or lights for hours in 90°+ Texas heat. The emergency line went to voicemail at midnight, and I had to wait until 10 AM for help. Even then, I was stuck without proper AC for 3+ days and had to fight for a second portable unit.
At this point, it’s clear management & staff doesn’t care about residents. There’s no communication, no urgency for emergencies, and constant incompetence. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being ignored and overcharged...
