While in line the cashier said next but the customer ahead of me was still trying to pay and hadn’t even moved yet. Then the cashier was rude the moment I came up to the counter. I bought a backpack then came back to return it and ask if I could get the earrings in the display she just gave me a blank stair and repeat it back to me and I said yes then she proceeded to take her time looking for the key, the security lady even told her where it was. Then she rang me up for the return and earrings gave me a merchant card, she didn't even tell me she was issuing me a merchant card. I told her I wanted my money back and I was okay with the rest on the merchant card the manager Maricruz was helpful with that part. Then when we go to leave the store the security lady needed to check our receipt which I understand because it is policy so we showed her our receipt she checked it marked it then said she needed to check my Burlington bag which I had tie shut before even walking into the store. I told her no because it’s not from Ross and that I literally walked straight up to the line that she could even look at the cameras. She stated it was policy but if that was the case where is the sign that states every single bag even if is not from your store will be checked? So I proceeded to leave the store and she was calling out for security which is strange considering the fact that she was the security. I am a supervisor at another retail store the way we were treated was ridiculous. As if we were a problem or a bother this was very disappointing because I love...
Read moreUPDATE: within 24 hrs the customer service of Ross Headquarters reached out to me and said that they would address the matter, later I got a phone call from the Store Manager and I am glad I was heard.
Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience with a cashier at the Ross store. The service was rude and unprofessional, which left me feeling frustrated. Associate numbered 2431457 spoke loud to me and rudely answered to my questions, she later didn't say any thank you and threw my receipt in front of me and yelled Next in line. I believe customer service is crucial in retail, and this interaction fell short. I hope the staff receive training to improve their communication skills and overall demeanor towards customers. Management is so poor here, the manager herself was scared of that associate. I also noticed that all of the management was hispanic and they favored hispanic customers and were rude to others. The previous reviews only...
Read moreVery disappointed at the stuff here, yesterday 09/27/22 at around 4:00-5:00 pm I went to this Ross to find a tie for my daughters school homework, I was next in line to pay as I was walking by to walk to the register I suddenly felt a sharp pain coming from the bottom of my foot & when I looked down to check it was a clothing pin! It literally stabbed thru my sandal and my foot. I was calling for an associate on the very first register next to me (first register to the right where the waiting line starts), and that woman literally just ignored me the entire time until another lady on the register across from her asked what’s wrong, I was too upset that I could barely even talk, she handed me a wipe, but besides that she was quite rude as well. What upset me besides rude staff was the fact that it could have been my 5 year old daughter who stepped on that pin, thankfully it was me...
