Arthur's Jewelers — Attraction in Roseville

While I didn’t purchase anything when visiting Arthur’s, and I didn’t intend to, my experience was better than I could have asked for.

One of 2 rings in an order I placed from an Etsy seller arrived in the wrong size. They were supposed to be made the same exact size, and one was significantly smaller. Even with pictures sent of the rings side-by-side and on my finger proving this, the seller didn’t believe me when I told them it was the wrong size. They offered me to send them the ring back for an additional labor fee, and said I should take them to a jeweler to get them properly sized to be absolutely sure.

Now, a task like this is more difficult for me than your average bear, because I’m a millennial with social anxiety and raised a people pleaser. The last thing I want to do is go into a shop and have them provide a service to me at no cost when I was never a customer. It was embarrassing.

Upon walking in, I have to say, I LOVE the royal purple colored outfits the employees wear. Makes them easy to spot and it’s such an elegant look! I was found by Mandy, which is funny because that’s my partners name too! She is an absolute gem, pun intended. She offered me a beverage and had us both sit at her desk. I explained my situation and she immediately wanted to find the Etsy seller and start throwing hands for me. We put the rings on the measuring stick (no clue what its proper name is) and confirmed one ring was a whole size and a half smaller than the other. She allowed me to take pictures of the rings on the stick to send the seller. She explained they could do the resizing there at the store, but it would cost almost as much as I paid for the ring. I told her I was going to see what the seller says and try to get the issue rectified with them first, and she was super understanding. I told her I felt bad for having to go into their business without spending any money there to help me with a product that I didn’t even buy from them, but she assured me it was no trouble at all.

As an update, the Esty seller did finally apologize for their mistake and offered to fix it without charge. I went to Arthur's Jewelers with my girlfriend (now Fiancee) for an engagement ring a few months ago. We'd gone to a few online Zoom meetings with other Jewelers but wow; Arthur's blew the competition out of the water in terms of customer service. Laura and I went to several other jewelers like Buchkosky Jewelers - who held the entire online Zoom appointment via a laptop webcam and weren't able to show any diamonds. Now given the pandemic, this is understandable and common practice throughout most of the appointments that Laura and I had. Arthur's however, went above and beyond by hosting an impressive professional multimedia display. We have the pleasure of talking to Brad Chaffin from Arthur's. Mr. Chaffin was not only able to show us real diamonds with impressive digital resolution, but he was also able to correctly guess Laura finger size just through the Zoom call. Mr. Chaffin truly seems to be a subject matter expert in this business. As he not only explained the nuances of diamond ratings, certifications of GIA, EGL, & IGS, and also introduced us to another gemological report whose ratings make much more sense with rating diamonds. The GEMEX report that Mr. Chaffin introduced to us made MUCH more sense in describing the shine and brightness of a diamond. No more nonsense about Crown Angle, or Girdle width or any of that other superfluous information that other reports give you. Mr. Chaffin and the GEMEX reports helped us pick out a diamond that truly sparkled and shone at a great price. I feel like we truly got a great value.

I was also impressed at the warranty policy provided by Arthur's given the research I did, they covered more than any other Jeweler that I read about (roughly 10 in and around the Twin Cities area).

As I searched and searched for lunch I decided to stop at keys Cafe. When exiting my vehicle I was suddenly surrounded by a pack of ravenous wolves. I had no choice but to react quickly. As I looked around for the best way out of this situation, I noticed a light in the far off distance. It was Arthur's jewelers. As I evaded the wolves pack, I quickly approached the building and ran inside as soon as I could slamming the door behind me. I quickly went through the second set of doors to be greeted by Kim Johnson with the biggest smile I had ever seen. I yelled for help and she was there to comfort me and tell me things were going to be fine. While I was in the store, I realized that I had yet to buy my wife a Valentine's Day gift. That's one. Kim offered to show me around and help me figure out the best thing that I could do for my wife. I knew I wanted to to get a gold dip. Rose for her and Kim was kind enough to show me my options. After deciding on a light green with sparkles rose kim wrapped it in such a beautiful packing that it almost made the rose look dim. That's one of doned on me that not only did Arthur's jewelers save my life but they also saved my marriage because if I hadn't bought that Rose, I surely would have forgotten Valentine's and more than likely my marriage would have ended in divorce. If you're ever in a pinch or just looking for a beautiful gift to give your wife for someone that you love, I would strongly suggest that you go to Arthur's jewelers and you will not be disappointed.
