Power Block Gym — Attraction in Roswell

Attendant / owner (whoever I interacted with) is really nice. Day pass is as of this review 11$ it may change in the future but since they do not have a website figured it may be a good idea to give others an idea of price. I went for a shower as we had a water heater blowup at home. Showers are clean, bathroom is nice, shower stall is double curtained so its private and you won't have your stuff messed with. The water is warm to luke warm not fantastic but the primary feature is the equipment not the showers. I figured it earned a 5 star as there was nothing wrong with the place though if I could provide any feedback warmer shower water would be nice (just probably costly for them to maintain with the...

Very AWESOME gym! I was only in town for a couple of days and tried this place out. If you are the type that likes a good old fashioned workout you will love this place. It has new equipment mixed with some of the old nostalgic equipment which I thought was awesome not only to see but to actually use and imagine several bodybuilders have thrown those same weights around. With that said, it does have a lot of the newer equipment so this location fits anyones style of workout. I didn't want to dissuade anyone from going here. There are giants roaming this gym, but they are friendly.

As a traveling Physical Therapist and performance coach it doesn’t take long for me to judge a gyms set up. Altons has done well. It’s definitely built more like a bodybuilder/strength athlete style gym BUT they have everything you would need as an endurance or alternative athlete as well....

Personally I’m an ultra runner and obstacle course racer. The outdoor fitness area, functional equipment, and plenty treadmills are plenty to make me happy!
