My wife and I have had nothing but great experiences here since we moved to the area in 2023, and weāve brought many friends with us when they visit! The employees have all been helpful, kind, and knowledgeable with both patrons and with each other when questions arise. The owner is always so kind to us when she is there as well, and she always remembers us! They have a great selection of year round ceramics and ceramics that rotate with the seasons, and they have basically every color you could want. The only time the ceramic selection was on the smaller side was because of shipping delays that were out of their control, and even then they had some great basics available and we had fun! We find that we enjoy weekdays most because it is a calmer, cozier atmosphere (always with excellent music playing, by the way), but when weāve been on weekends the atmosphere is still fun filled and the employees are just as great, albeit much busier. They are definitely walk in friendly, but I highly recommend making a reservation if you plan to go on the weekends or during school breaks, as tables can fill up quickly. Iāve loved painting pottery since I was in elementary school, and Ceramic Lodge is my favorite place out of all the studios...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere were good things about this place, but more bad than good. I went with a friend this weekend and while having been to similar places I had never been to this place before. The owner was not distinguishable from patrons at all. When we first walked in, we couldn't even tell who the employees were. The owner was there a majority of the time we were. She was not very helpful. While I've done stuff like this before my friend had not and the owner offer little to no help to use. I answered most of my friends questions based off where I had done it before. We learned more by what she told other people than by what she told us. She didn't check on us and see if we had questions or needed to help. The positives were that it was a good environment and relaxing. The prices are on par with the other places that I've been to like this. Overall, I was not impressed and while I definitely would paint pottery again, this is not the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat a great little gem for a fun activity with family and/or friends! While they do accept walk-ins, I recommend scheduling an appointment. Due to its size, it can get crowded pretty quickly, especially on weekends. Parking behind the building can also be limited but there's another lot closer by if needed; just a short walk.
They had several pieces to choose from; some functional (containers, mugs, and plates) and some decorative (cats, dragons, gnomes, etc.). Prices are clear for each item before you start painting.
Staff is knowledgeable and informaive on paint types and provide all of the supplies. They are quick to help, but if it's crowded, be patient; they are doing their best. We were there during a birthday party in the back, and I could tell they were stretched pretty thin.
Overall, a really fun experience. Our family is already planning their pieces for...
