Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Round Rock

I was totally shocked at the unprofessionalism of all the employees , including the disconcern of the manager of this store. I placed an order of 4 piece chicken dinner to go. Paid for my order at 7:50 pm. Store was somewhat busy but that was due to no guidance or attention by manager. There were 5 young employees working under her.They were a disaster ! One employee was wearing his pants with the waist halfway down his but and patrons could see it plainly behind the counter while he was filling orders to go to the drive through. The cashier walked out without notice to manager and did not clock out according to manager. I was told that biscuits were being baked and would be done in 6 minutes. This was around 8:05 There were 2 other customers that came in after I did and placed their orders. Nobody else was in the dinning area. It took forever for anyone to address me for my order. The 2 customers had larger orders after me and after another 10 minutes, they were served before me. I went back to the counter to check on my order of 4 piece chicken dinner and the manager didn't seem concerned of my long wait. This was at 8:25. I was getting very angry of being ignored so I firmly and sternly asked for my money back. The manager asked if I paid in cash or card. I said cash and gave her the receipt. She very quickly handed me my cash and never said a word about apologizing for the mess up. I politely told her that the experience was totally unacceptable that I could not get my easy 5 minute order and that I was filing a complaint with the corporation about this. As I was leaving in anger, another man was getting out of his car and I told him about the ordeal that I had. He was a little shocked and proceeded to enter store somewhat reluctantly. Overall, there was no concern from any employees about my near 30 minute long wait to get a 5 minute to go order. It will be a long time before I ever go back in and I will let everyone I know, know about it. This was Deporable !!!😡 I left...

I visited this location this evening, and it turned out to be a busy night for the young ladies working there. They were short-handed it seemed, with only 3 employees that I could see. But I was greeted immediately by the young lady working the counter, who told me that she would be with me in just a moment. After waiting a few minutes, the young lady apologized for the wait and took my order. She was nice enough to accept a photo of a coupon that I had left at home. She informed me that there would be a slight wait on the spicy chicken, and I told her no problem. She offered me and my son cups to grab a drink while we waited. After awhile, she brought our order out to us, apologizing again for the wait, and told me she had put a couple extra pieces of chicken in the box for me. I just want to commend this young lady for her exceptional customer service. I did not mind waiting at all because she was so nice and did everything she could to make me feel appreciated as a customer. I walked in to order my food to go, igot the 5 piece spicy tender combo, fries and mashed potatoes, after a small wait that seemed like forever and me standing at the front the guy handed me my food on a tray I reminded him it was to go order so he put in. A bag for me i left got to hotel I got my mashed potatoes and noticed I wasn't given any utensils, or napkins or ketchup. No problem ill just caveman it. Then I noticed the "tenders".. the best way to describe these would be to take a look at ur middle finger imagine it breaded now imagine u bit your middle finger and that's about the same thing as I ate hardly any chicken and once u past the breaded part they were hard. Not to mention ibwas asked if i wanted sauces i told them which ones and i was charged $1.75 extra for half filled salsa holders. The only good thing about the tenders was I was able to use it as a spoon for my mashed potatoes. The bad part is after paying for a combo meal I was still hungry.
