Kalahari Indoor Water Park — Attraction in Round Rock

Walking is a must. Flat feet are coming soon to you. The whole place inside beauty. Staff who clean and dust windows WHAT! Now the parking is dwn town. Pushed luggage cart a long ways and at the end, here's she goes. My daughter, Oh, u a senior, let me and then gave it back to me to turn those corners again going uphill. My daughter did this. Hush my burden. Her husband did it correctly. i stopped. I couldn't push it any longer. There needs to be an easier way to return the cart. How about I hold the children hands and u push the cart. U trusted me with the kids in the water. ...next. Cleaning service is done by some nonspeaking Latinos ppl. I was going to speak to this young looking black man to see if he spoke english. I can't speak it well myself, but I sound like I can. Knowing there are light and brown skin ppl who don't speak english as their only language... but by then, I was tired. So I was pleased to see the staff cleaned so well. Now, only one complaint well two. 1. Housekeeping staff don't touch my personal clothes, which are nasty and dangers in this world today that really bothered me. They folded and hung clothing up. My son-in-law shirt underneath my skirt. No, we don't wash clothes together.. plus, u saw my underwear and smelled my funk after swimming. I did not place my stuff near theirs, so why mix them. funk can knock u down. Please don't touch my clothes even thou we washed and hung wet clothes. My skrit was not wet, but u hung it.. 2 females in the room and children one man. No! senior came along to watch children. 2. money left out, chilren birthday money, and they took it as a tip. That was funny. It wasn't much. The room on the family member size was torn down. You went thru my bag to get my skirt out and placed it on their side of the room. but hey, one complaint is too many right. But it's still a beautiful place. Fun activities for children. Make sure your child can talk walk and enjoy it because u will come back when they are older. parents got some enjoyment too, and if the children can see or hear the excitement, you will be asked to go back. Back to housekeeping How they cleaned that room up is amazing. Be very proud of your staff in housekeeping an outstanding job. People don't value jobs like this. Pay them more, please. They go thru a lot. I did housekeeping jobs before I didn't touch clothes, yuk.. but cleaning urine off walls floors, yep, not my bag to do now. I was also good at my job, no perks in having that job. We'll I notices top notch. Next, if I had known about the food, yummy Mexican restaurant perfect in looks and taste. Google the water park.(a fly) flew from across the sea and ocean. It did. we had to pack up. I will be back. Just thinking about the other places, my tummy missed out.. Google the park bugers at the water park yummy and huge. Next spray/clean concrete at the outdoor food places. That one fly was determined to eat free. That fly didn't land on us he went for the food, and I know how nasty that is eating around a fly. we packed it in. Waving the fly away did not work. Next, people were happy from what i heard by the noise level It was loud like at a concert. It was fun.. One complaint touching my personal clothes. Please don't go thru the bags. I didn't wear my skirt. How did it get with his stuff. The skirt was not out i am very disappointed. It was too long so I didn't wear it. If u stole my identity well, Yea, a 4 star. P.s. Bring your own games. Why? you want to be outside, it is beautiful outside. It is a huge water park. I didn't lock my personal stuff up. i believe teach them well. I got it teach. I had fun. My fault about my clothes plus my side was clean. Oh yea dont ever fold the phone charger. i need to be more careful and lock my skirt up. 😆 two truth clothes and charger money if it's a lot. here is what you need to know before coming to this resort

be prepared to have a couple hundred dollars spending money before coming here to truly be in a position to enjoy this place with you and your family and this is especially a place you want to come bring other people with you and you know and love and or definitely plan ahead accordingly

I came in through the convention center parking lot area and it was $30 for parking for July 4th no matter where you park in the future be sure to strategize where you want to park and find parking at although I did find that parking at the convention center area what's the shortest walk into the building and then did not take long to get my bearings from there to explore the rest of what the Kalahari had to offer on foot in about an hour

there are many restaurants catering to every kind of pallet you can imagine and every kind of coffee you've ever it along the way many other convention rooms for every kind of event which you can check the event schedule in advance online find out what's coming up

there's lower class restaurants and then there's the up scale restaurants with live music in the evenings as well to choose from

there's a check-in area with elevators to go up to the multiple 16th floors worth of room stay at

there's an area to buy swimwear and clothes of every kind

lots of art throughout the building focused on an Africa theme with many different ways to donate the different nonprofit causes the benefit conservation water and helping the people of Africa and most little different regions throughout the building you'll find you are a coach promoting different events art and sculptures that directly benefit people in Africa in need

also there is an outdoor swimming pool area with bar and drinks of every kind and an inside pool area that it's much less of an inexpensive option if you're okay with getting toasted in the sun at the pool which was packed today be on capacity

that made my way down to what I can only describe as a giant fairground inside with every kind of video game and physical activity wall climbing roller coaster, vr, laser tag, events in toys for the kiddos of every kind imaginable and some you never even knew you wanted till now, and more and you can imagine

From there you find out it's going to be at least minimum $100 or more after 5:00 p.m. to get into the indoor water park or about 160 depending on the time of day and events

there is also a burger place here and bar with every kind of other combination of food and lots of escalators and stairs elevators throughout this place for handicap options including some people I saw on scooters

in addition to that there's a smell of popcorn and many other concessions throughout inside and outside be had

in addition they have inside a upper floor devoted just to a spa massage area as well as a fancy steak restaurant where you can drop easily $100 on dinner and a piano bar behind the library secret password kind of place with live music that opens at 7:00 p.m.

Panera proceeded to make my way outside and visit the barn area where they would normally have a petting zoo which was not up and running today

and addition to that they had live music instead set up with a bunch of seats being set up for the fireworks and a VIP all you can eat buffet and chairs to the fireworks for $79 per person

horse prices ferry pretending on what you wanting to participate in with the live event is and or if you're bringing in the family different prices for children of different ages and proceeded back inside

All the restaurants were spotless and cleaned with water fountains that are filtered throughout the building that then make an emphasis on reminding you about supporting people in Africa and even more artwork steep and origin from Africa throughout the building

First, let me start off by saying that when i visited almost a yr and a half ago, there was plenty of parking. They have decided to change most of the parking into valet parking ,with no human valet parking your car. We drive around and around and finally had to park way off to the side of the building because most of the parking is valer now. It was very, very expensive. From the games in the arcade to the swimming area. Be prepared to spend some money. For example, you have a family of four. You want to start off playing a few games. Try and win a lot of tickets so you can go to the prize room and score a few toys that are way overpriced in tickets. Let's say you only spend $100 playing the games. You don't do the putt-putt golf or the obstacle courses because those require you to purchase bands for each person interested in those games. You're trying to stay on a budget but still show your family a great time. So you're done with the games, and it's time to go to the Waterpark. If you arrive BEFORE 5PM, it cost $99 bucks per person. Unless you are 2 yrs old or younger.😲 No grandma and / or grandpa can't come on this little adventure. Unless you plan on leaving them in the car or in the arcade. Because it will cost you another $99 bucks for each of them to even enter the swim area. Doesn't matter if they were only going to watch their grand babies splashing around. They either pay the $99 or wait to see the pictures you took on your phone when yall get home. So now you're at $500 bucks. So you go swim for a while and what happens when we go swimming? We get hungry. So now everyone wants a snack and something to drink. On the low side where everyone is going to share, well, that will cost you about $85 bucks easy. Because what kid doesn't want a souvenir cup of their own?? Then you go swim a little more. It's getting late. It's time to head out. Well, you promised the kiddos some Dippin Dots if they stopped fighting. Well, little Jenny says her brother has cooties and she's not sharing. Plus, she's not in the mood for cookies n creame like her brother, so she wants her own flavor too. With the souvenir cups, the Dippin Dots, the snacks and the adults bottle waters, you are now up to at least $650/$675 bucks. Don't forget you haven't gone to the prize shop yet to see if you can purchase any toys from the $100 you spent when you first walked in. I'm thinking that with 2 kiddos not willing to share Dippin Dots, there's no way they are both coming out sharing any toy. So you may need to put some more funds on that arcade game card so you parents can have a peaceful ride home. Now, if you wait and enter the swimming area from 5pm to 10pm, the price per person (still no grandma or grandpa allowed to just watch) the price goes down to $54.99 PER PERSON. Please note this was a Thursday that I went with my grandson. The weekends are much higher from what I was told. It's a cool place. It's huge. They have several games and rides in the arcade. It's clean. It's bright. It's fun for both adults and kids. It's just to expensive. I have gone twice with my grandson. The last time was a year and 5 months ago. We enjoy going. But it definitely puts a hurting on the pocket book no matter how hard you try to stay...
