B-Lux Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Round Rock

Tonight was not best experience we had at this restaurant.

Me and my friend stopped by just to have a couple of drinks and chat. Our server took our order and said it should be right out. About 20 minutes had passed we have not received our drinks yet, and our server was also no where to be found. Finally, the bartender came by with a drink, but it was only the drink my friend had ordered. I ordered a ' Mango Tango ' and the bartender informed me that they had run out of mango asked for a substitute fruit. I said strawberry is fine and the bartender said it will be right out. While waiting, I saw the bartender approach my server and talk to her, and the server finally comes back to the table and said " they're working on that drink for you". And THEN the bartender comes back and ask " Was the other drink for you?". Maam... there are only two people at this table, and only one of us has a drink. Clearly the drink IS MINES, and she did all of that just to ask for my ID. Like come on now. Its beyond 20 minutes at this point and here we are asking dumb questions, when the server should have been trained to ask for an ID upon taking an order. After a few minutes had passed, my drink finally comes.

After finishing our drinks, we were ready to order more, but again the server was no where to be found. The manager approaches us and asked if we were waiting for something to which we both responded " just looking for our server ". It was obvious that the manager could tell that the service was lacking that night so she proceeded to take our order. I ordered a ' Frozen Rose ' and my friend ordered a side of fries.

One of the food runners attempts to deliver the fries to an empty table. Not sure if casper the friendly ghost was going to eat them, but we told the food runner we had ordered fries and she delivered them to our table and apologized for the mistake. While we were eating those fries, another food runner comes by and attempts to deliver the fries we were already eating on.... We jokingly said " hey were happy to take some free fries", and the food runner apologized again and took the fries back into the kitchen.

Okay so remember when I ordered a ' Frozen Rose ' , key word FROZEN. Somehow the bar misheard that. Mind you the manager herself even stopped by our table again and said " you said frozen rose right?" to which I responded " yes thats correct". A different server stops by with a glass of regular rose and asked " do you still want that frozen rose?" .... Like yes thats what I freaking ordered, and she proceeds to tell me that there was a miscommunication and gave me glass of rose for free. My frozen rose finally comes out, and lets not get into how it tasted exactly like the mango tango.

Overall, the service was lacking severely tonight and was the worst experience me and my friend had...

I was looking forward to this place because everything else in Kalahari pretty amazing and B-Lux disappointed me with taste of food, the presentation of food, the service of the restaurant. The shake, wings my son ordered, and firecracker shrimp 🍤 was the only things that tasted good. My burger was sloppy as you can see in pic it was the cowboy. The patty was a lil cold it did take forever for food to come out and what grinds my gears is when restaurants bring the appetizer with food 🤦🏽‍♂️. Atmosphere was really good it was relaxing everyone around was having a good time except my stomach prior to the Odyssey my server had to take to bring me the food and after eating it giving me bubble guts. I was really looking forward to liking this place I tried convincing my mind it was good but I couldn’t with what I ate. My wife’s chicken sandwich had so much mayo in it, the chicken was swimming in it. Reminded me of the McDonald’s McChicken yeah that cheap sandwich how the mayo is just splatted on bun gross 🤢. Not only was there a fight going on in my stomach but once my family got to our room we fought over the toilet. Lastly the serve once he took my order he never checked on us again, other ppl brought drinks and food. My guess is he knew the food sucked and tried to avoid those “don’t kill the messenger” vibes we waited forever to ask for check, if I didn’t get up to go tell him “hey we ready whenever you feel like coming over I’ll take the check.” I’d still be there at table probably. Also I had water to be exact just one glass and was almost out of it before food came out. Not to exaggerate but this has to be one of the worst servers I’ve had wasn’t rude at all but just never and I mean NEVER checked on us after he took order. I know it so convenient especially if you staying at resort but do your wallet, guts and toilet a favor just take the time to go out and get a burger elsewhere. Never again about 20-30 after we ate to get check that I had to get up...

I recently visited this restaurant for the second time, hoping for an improvement from my initial encounter, but alas, my optimism proved unfounded. What was meant to be an enjoyable meal turned out to be a gastronomic disappointment.

My order, a bacon ranch chicken wrap, fell far short of expectations. While the menu promised grilled chicken, I was served with what seemed to be a cold slice of poultry, as if it had been hastily retrieved from a fridge. To add to this culinary offense, the promised bacon was virtually non-existent, turning the anticipated symphony of flavors into a hollow solo.

The accompanying onion rings failed to salvage the meal. They were far from noteworthy, lacking the crispy satisfaction one typically seeks from this classic side dish. Their bland taste and unremarkable texture did nothing but cement the overall disappointment.

Although I had previously learned to steer clear of their shakes, observing other diners served as a harsh reminder of this establishment's continued inadequacies. Seeing table after table leaving their shakes unfinished was a testament to their dismal quality.

The only convenience this restaurant offers is its location, nestled next to the local arcade. But let it be known that convenience should never supersede quality, especially when it comes to dining out.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend this restaurant. In both of my visits, the food quality, taste, and overall experience were consistently subpar. The menu promises far more than the kitchen can deliver, leaving customers unsatisfied and longing for a dining experience that this establishment simply...
