Brought a 10, 8, and 6 year old. Paid for the 2 hr pass and got the required socks. Was about $50 for entry.
Other than the main counter and lobby, the place consists of an adult sitting area adjacent to some small party rooms and restrooms, a shoe rack area, and the main play area. There are no drinks or concessions available directly, only via vending machines in the lobby.
The main play area could be described as a glorified McDonald's playground. Older kids are definitely going to explore and be over it before the younger kids, but 2 hrs seemed about right for mine. There is absolutely nothing a young teenager would enjoy and nothing to appease adults, although 1 parent is free to join the children in the play area.
I don't forsee a repeat visit for us, but maybe for someone with only toddlers or tots.
Overall, from my personal perspective, this place seems like a money farm. -Admission is expensive especially vs competition (somewhere more classic). The socks are an obvious ploy, literally only a single ~15ft wide section of the playground could possibly benefit from them -Their cost/upkeep is minimal (condition of some of the playground is rather rough and unmaintained, staff was -only- focused on working the counter). Cleanliness was worse than I expected for such a new establishment. -The vending machines are location owned and are aggressively priced, both snacks/drinks and the skill cranes.
TLDR: Never been? Take 2 hrs for your 10 and under kids, but don't plan any return trips. Bring snacks or drinks of your own. Check the pricing and add the...
Read morePLEASE do not waste your money planning a birthday party here. The entire process from start to finish was the biggest mess. Our party was planned to start at 3:00, I had filled out forms to add nothing extra to my room, so I called in advance to ask when I could come into the room and set up everything for the partyâŚI was told 15 minutes in advance. When we got there at 2:40, the girl at the counter informed me they couldnât let me in until exactly 2:45, um okay? So I took my hand fulls of bags, and the birthday girl and waited 5 more minutes before approaching the desk again and being told the room still wasnât ready. Once everyone had started showing up for the party, they finally let us in (around 3:05.) Okay, no big deal, we got the party started and then was informed that NEITHER BATHROOM WAS AVAILABLE. Iâm sorry, I have 12 kids here and you want me to just inform them they have to hold it for 2 more hours, or take them next door? What a joke. I saw them have adults in the bathroom, turning away children who clearly needed to use the bathroom, they 100% should have closed down for the day if they were unable to provide bathrooms. By the end of the party, we went up to pay and asked to speak to someone about the bathroom situation, when we did we were told they donât have managers? Wait, right now? Or at all? I just canât believe how much they donât care about this business, or the children who come there. Itâs absolutely fine for a quick play date, just apparently make sure you pee first and donât need a manager for...
Read morePROS- Amazing staff. The employee that was there today (9/22 @ 11:15am) deserves a ton of praise. She was one of the most kind, helpful, accommodating employees I've ever met.
This place is a kids paradise. Fun for hours.
Safe and clean.
Has a separate area with tables and chairs to eat snacks.
Has lockers in addition to cubbys (lockers can only be opened once with the slip of paper they give you to scan, so put valuables there and water and snacks in a cubby.)
CONS/SUGGESTIONS- More benches for parents to sit. Maybe some around the perimeters.
The gates to get in require a wristband scan. Would be nice if it also worked that way getting out through the gate so young kids can't wander out. Parents do their best to keep an eye on kids but it can happen so quickly of them running off or not being where you just thought they were up in the tunnels.
There's a push door emergency exit in the back. Would be nice if there was a latch gate (latch could still be opened for emergencies, but not by young toddlers) there to block off that unused section...
