*Edit: as it turns out, the owner IS lying about them checking daily for card skimmers. I know this because the local news a few months back reported a HUGE bust claiming that card skimmers are a regular, normal thing that is constantly used is this establishment. Either the owner has placed them there deliberately, or their cashiers sneak them in. Apps on your phone can scan for skimmers, and I highly encourage looking into using an app to scan for them when shopping here.
I'm pretty sure my credit card got skimmed here. The next morning around 8am, my card had attempted to be used for a few transactions in France, only a few hours after I got done shopping there.
The card pin pad machine looked like it had been tampered with, so I checked it out and tried to remove anything suspicious with no luck, but it was taped over near the screen in a few places that looked peculiar to me.
My advice is to either pay with tap or cash, don't swipe or insert your card into their machines if you can help it.
One of the cashiers also asked me if I served in the military and asked me a lot of really suspicious questions about who I was, my job, etc. I don't work for the military but it made me very uncomfortable and made me worry for those who are in the military who decide...

Wonderful store. Rude cashiers. It always looks busy and maybe it is a difficult job to get right but there have been a few who smiled and the rest are really mean bordering on rude. You should not be hesitant to shop at a store cause you get treated like crap by an...
Read moreMy family and recently had a very negative experience at the Ocean Mart in Roy, UT. Due to medical issues I can’t wear a face covering. My family and I shopped at the store for over an hour and amassed over $300 worth of products! The store manager passed us several different times through the the isles and never once said a thing to us. He eventually said that we had to leave because we weren’t wearing masks. We offered to pay for what we had and he still said no and then asked me for a doctor’s note for my condition. I told him it was illegal to ask for that info and he said we have to go I asked for his name and said he was calling the police. My wife and I waited asked another employee for the manager’s name and she was very rude about it and said they would not speak to us but only to the police. An officer showed up and we spoke to him and he said he this store is the only one in the area to call multiple times a week on this issue. The low review is because the manager and staff didn’t handle the situation legally or professionally. Had they kindly provided a face masks or stopped us at the beginning instead of letting us shop for over an hour, this review...
