Friendly staff. Very welcoming. Vicky did a great job with my pedicure and didn't make me feel rushed. This was my first time there & I would definitely return.
Updated review: I went a 2nd time and Jennifer did my pedicure. She is very kind and did a great job as well! Great to know there's more than one person there that does a great job!
Another update: After having paid for pedicures 3 times in the past with a good experience at Himalayan Nails, I decided to try an acrylic fill after I couldn't get an appointment with my regular nail girl (I usually go to someone else for my hands). I was called before my appointment & was told I could come in earlier because the requested nail tech (I won't embarrass her by mentioning her name) finished early. I said I could come in 10 minutes early and when I did, 15 minutes passed before the nail tech arrived. It appeared she had stepped out. That, however, is not what triggered me to update my review. The gentleman who greeted me and began removing my gel polish as I waited for the requested nail tech to arrive, told the nail tech upon arrival that I wanted my nails filed square (they were previously almond). I also reminded the nail tech of the square shape. She proceeded to cut the sides of my nails to begin an almond shape and had to cut my nails even shorter in order to pull off the square shape, after I pointed out she made a mistake. Another thing that was upsetting was that I had to point out that I was charged wrong. I don't like that they don't break down the services for you to see why you were charged with the total you were given. Lastly, I agreed to let her cut my nails vs. file because I thought it would make her job easier, but I ended up (without warning) being charged $3 for the cutting of my nails... something that would have taken 30 seconds for me to do myself. I'm not used to being charged for that... especially without warning! I won't make that mistake again! Today's experience is bringing my previous 5 star review down to 4...
Read moreI will NEVER go here again. I asked the lady doing my nails if she could make the white thicker on my french manicure (pretty standard and simple request) instead, she was making the WHOLE nail thicker. My nail was becoming EXTREMELY THICK , since couldnât understand my request I asked the receptionist to step in and help translate. No big deal. i said to reception âcan you please help me get the nail tech to understand my requestâ withoht skipping a beat the receptionist (the one with blonde hair and converse sneakers) reply was â no she understands.â Before even letting me speak or tell her what was happening. She wasnât even near us so she was just making an assumption and providing poor service. I tried to reiterate and literally the receptionist was just arguing with me over the most simple request... within two minutes the nail lady ended up shutting her lamp and walking away while I sat in her chair with a half completed âfull setâ. I had powder all over my hands , no top coat, no filing done, nothing. The receptionist with blonde hair and converse was so rude I couldnât even speak to her because she just starred at me in a snarky manner while making no sense and just continued to argue ALL OVER THE FACT A CUSTOMER REQUESTED FOR THICK WHITE ON THEIR FRENCHâŚafter 15 minutes the nail tech came back and without even completing my manicure just put a top coat on. When checking out the receptionist told me itâs because I said I wanted them to finish and put on my top coats. LOL !!! there are WAY better nail salons than a place who will argue with the most simple requests, charge full price for half completed manicures, and do whatever they can to not accommodate their paying customers. Worst service and WORST manicure of my LIFE....
Read moreI had been going here for some months. It was very clean during start of covid which is why I came in. prices have gone up and service has gone down since then and staff is rude and argues over who will take appt. They excessively charge for everything and the place is not as clean. It would be fine to go up on prices if the SERVICE was there but its not! pedicure chairs are nasty cup holders and arm rests are not clean. Glass is not clean. feels nasty. I stopped coming here and made the mistake of trying them out again today for quick eyebrows and gel. Big mistake.I would make triple mani/pedi appts for my family and the price was outrageous so I stopped going. They ask inappropriate questions like was my spouse my sister. annoying. They are rude and throw your hands around and try to give you stickers instead of nail art then over charge. There is only 1 or 2 that do proper nail art. They try to pressure you to the highest pedi package, they say because they have kids to feed-unprofessional. Dont tell a customer that- learn customer service. I only like the young woman that used to be there doing pedi but she has since left. i wont return. These are truthful statements and as you can see from business response these people lack customer service skills. If you expect...
