As you walk into this cute little Allspicery shop, you’ll be flabbergasted with their spice selections. You’ll be amazed, this cute little shop carry array of spices for cooking, tea and etc. Where should I begin, the staffs are friendly. And they try their best either to google or find the spice you need for your dish in the store. For example, one of friends was searching for jambalaya spice unfortunately they don’t carry instore. However, the staff tried her best to google to find exactly what Cajun spice consists of for the jambalaya.
If you are unable to find something you are searching for in a regular grocery supermarket, you can check out this place. FYI, they are closed on Sunday’s.
If you want a specific blend of spice, they go above and beyond to create a jar for you. They have cook books in the store too. You are welcome to browse to get ideas or purchase.
The layout of the store is very congenial. The spices are organized in jars based on categories such as salts and peppers, veggies, turmeric, sugar etc. They have different types of salt and sugar for example sugar with strawberry or siracha. I could easily spend at least an hour going through their interesting combination of spices. My coworkers purchase their prepackaged espresso spice and they loved it. The espresso spice goes smoothly with the steak. Unfortunately, I don’t eat steak or pork so that’s not a perfect choice for me. However, the owner said I could sprinkle on the salmon a little but not on any other fish. It has a strong flavor of coffee and other spices. They use the coffee from chocolate fish and company. If you don’t know, that’s one of my favorite coffee shops. I would absolutely recommend this store to anyone who is passionate about cooking, quality of spice and the reasonable price.
Oh, if you are searching for gift ideas for friends and family then don’t look any further.
I would certainly go back to try their...
Read moreA small, warm, and homely establishment selling an eclectic selection of salts, peppers, spices and spice blends, teas, and honeys. They have great variety; their spice blends take inspiration from several different cuisines, such as Ethiopian and Japanese. They have instore pickup as well as delivery if you shop online. I like what these guys are selling and will certainly visit them again soon. However...
Their customer service was not the best. I was the only customer at the time of visiting and there were 2 workers. They were not very friendly and did not seem excited to help me. One of them was more interested in filling bags behind a counter than coming out to guide me around. And if it's your first time, you definitely need the guidance. The majority of their products are sold by weight, but there are very few price tags, so you have no idea how much most things cost. Also, while the exact ingredients of their products are listed on the jar, many jars are too high up or the ingredients are printed too small to read. Honestly, their website is set up better for shopping than their...
Read moreI decided to do cider mulling spices as a party favor and had been searching all over for bulk spices to make 25+ gifts. I stumbled upon this place in a google search after visiting several stores. The shop is adorable and stocked with such a great variety of items, I was taken aback. When I told the gentleman what I needed, he showed me their own mulling spice mix and with one smell, I fell head over heels. No way could I make that on my own. I decided to purchase their mulling mix and bags to individually wrap them and he told me to come back in a few hours and everything would be ready (they had to mix more, due to the amount I needed). Had lunch and came back to prepackaged mulling spices in my baggies! It was an amazing surprise! The gentleman told me that they love doing things like this and I couldn't be happier! I have recommended Allspicery to everyone I know and can't wait to go...
