St. Augustine National Cemetery — Attraction in Saint Augustine

The bald head Secuirty man is a joke. He comes up while we are outside, trying to be something he isn’t. He walks up with his mag light and says What are you doing here? we’re just taking a few photos… of what? I said the graves, we aren’t in the gate….. from the public side of the gate.

We know the cemetery’s closed, and we’re not trying to go in. It’s just way too hot during the day, so we waited until the sun went down.

A ghost tour we took told us it was fine to take pictures from here, as long as we stayed outside

Maybe y’all need to get with the ghost tours and tell them to stop telling people they can stand outside the public street if it’s going to be such an issue.

My wife and I toured these hallowed grounds on July 4th a couple of hours before the fireworks show. The caretakers of this site do an amazing job maintaining the grounds. It’s not far from the main tourist attractions, and doesn’t take long to take it in. I wish we had found it sooner. It would have been nice to rest for a few minutes in this...
