Iâd like to say that I have been following Frank Reubelâs designs for yearsâall over in high end womenâs magazines, Pinterest and other sites that advertise fine jewelry design. Iâm very particular about jewelry and I appreciate the artistry of designing jewelry versus cookie cutter pieces that stem from franchise jewelry stores. NowâI do not come from wealth but that doesnât mean I canât have an eye for quality and passion in individual pieces. On the weekend of our 7th anniversary, my husband and I walked into one of Frankâs stores off of King St, St Augustine but merely to allow me to appreciate the pieces in the glass windows as like a fine art show. A nice ending to a special night. What I didnât expect was to have a story to tell and a picture that lasts forever. As we were looking the gentleman across the case offered to show me a piece. It was a design I had been searching out for over a few years but never committed to any one piece. We began to chat and have conversation about the piece and then it came to my awareness that the person showing us the piece was none other than the designer himself, Frank. I was mesmerized. I felt so honored to be speaking to the very man himself and we couldnât walk away from that counter without owning that piece. Now this story isnât about just the purchase but it was about the encounter with the famous artist himself. I think heâs famous. He was flattered but I was honored because he was so genuine-him and his son were so generous, down to earth-real and raw just like the beautiful pieces. The son was a fine gentleman with great integrity, passion and pride to work alongside his dad. His dad, famous designer sold us a most memorable piece on our 7th wedding anniversary and it will never be forgotten. The Reubel men have honor, class, talent but most of all so genuine we had conversations for a good 45 minutes as if we were old friends. We shared pieces of stories about why we love jewelry so much and it will be forever ingrained in the special piece I know own. Frank signed my jewelry box that night and evens allowed me to take a photo with him and his son. SPECIAL! We WILL go back to Frank Reubelâs storeâŠbecause I hope to meet the man himself...
Read moreHad a great experience with a younger man when buying a neckless for my daughter. During sale we werenât sure about the length and he said it wasnât a problem we could just come back in and get it adjusted. When I brought it back for resizing some arrogant middle aged woman told us it would be $75 to adjust it. When we inquired about she treated us like bottom feeders trying to rip them off. When I picked up the young man came and was clearly trying to just give it to me and she came swooping in from across the store and charged $30. I guess Iâm just some poor slob that can barely afford the $800 birthday present before heading to my trailer for the night.
I will update this star rating from a 3 to a 4 because I really liked the young salesman and I'm sure he is getting the blame for this. But if you think it had anything to do with the $30 you are mistaken. It was the treatment. When my wife mentioned questioned the charge, as it was never mentioned at the time of sale, she was told "you already got a $200 discount", like we asked for it. We were trying to make up our mind and it was offered to us at a discount to sell the item. I didn't walk in there yelling "I want a discount". You need to watch how you talk to your customers, especially if you want them back. As much as I appreciate the gift and the money back I won't be coming by the...
Read moreMy fiance bought my Frank Reubel engagement ring in Tucson Arizona. I immediately looked up the jewelry brand and fell in love with the unique design of my forever ring. It is bold but classic, stunning and strong. Whatâs more amazing is that we contacted the company in St. Augustine FL to acquire the matching wedding band for our wedding. My sales representative, Kate, contacted me via text and was just amazing, all around helpful. I sent her pictures of my engagement ring so she could match my band. Because my finger size is so small and the band so unique, the company asked me to send my engagement ring to them from Arizona to Florida, insured of course ;) and fully paid. Naturally, I was hesitant but I wanted the custom set to be perfect. So I sent it off and Kate confirmed promptly when it was received. After the completion time it was sadly hurricane season in Florida and I became nervous about the rings return. Kate was so kind to keep me updated and even was able to get it returned asap, and before any weather delays. I cannot thank her and the Frank Reubel team enough for their generosity, kindness, and workmanship on my custom band. And it fits perfect! âșïž Thank you so much! Highly...
