I used to park at the St Francis barracks as I am retired military and never had a problem before this 4th of July. There was a guard in the lot stating I couldn't park there because there was an event going on but I parked behind the building and the other lot and then they said oh no the event is over and there was plenty of spots in the front lot so it was just more inconvenient. I would have given it five stars if I had never experienced this glitch. Read moreI've been here a few times, the historical significance is amazing though. I retired from the FL National Guard and at one time was offered the SR Enlisted housing. I had too many dogs for that at the time, LOL. Anyway, if you have a chance to visit, it won't disappoint! The original foundation room is pretty amazing. They even have a B-17 bombsight (which was highly classified, and pivotal to the Allied victory!) Right across from the country's oldest house.
