I've been here a few times, the historical significance is amazing though. I retired from the FL National Guard and at one time was offered the SR Enlisted housing. I had too many dogs for that at the time, LOL. Anyway, if you have a chance to visit, it won't disappoint! The original foundation room is pretty amazing. They even have a B-17 bombsight (which was highly classified, and pivotal to the Allied victory!) Right across from the country's oldest house. Across the street is a garage looking area that used to be the bakery. Don't pass up an opportunity to visit St Augustine as a whole! You won't be disappointed!

its NOT a Museum its a Federal Building, we walked 2 miles there and of course 2 miles back. A tour person in one of the info booths told us to go there for a tour. Thanks for nothing mate!!!! you ruined my day I have bad knees and could have spent the day walking round the city, instead we walked there and back I could not do anymore walking till the next day. South there is a well kept military cemetery with historic interesting graves. And VERY expensive homes.

Me and my co worker Morris walked to the Florida National Guard to ask them if they would attend a surprise birthday party for one of our regular guests who turned 99 years old. Bill Manley was super supportive by sending an email out to the troops and showing up the very next day. It was a last minute idea and we appreciate you making it happen. Thank you for all you do!

I used to park at the St Francis barracks as I am retired military and never had a problem before this 4th of July. There was a guard in the lot stating I couldn't park there because there was an event going on but I parked behind the building and the other lot and then they said oh no the event is over and there was plenty of spots in the front lot so it was just more inconvenient. I would have given it five stars if I had never experienced this glitch. But they really should keep their guards up-to-date on what time something ends so they don't act disrespectfully to the people who use their parking lot. He most treated me like I...
