DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT This is a dangerous place to eat! I was just passing through and feeling Italian. I selected Chef Alfredo's based on googles recommendations. I dined at an off hour, around 3:30 p.m., so I was not surprised that the dining room was nearly devoid of patrons. The water served was highly chlorinated tap water. That is important because this is a restaurant that presumably boils much of their food and does not have a filtration system, or at least not a working one. The focaccia bread was pleasant but not fresh baked. There was infused olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the table, but the server did not offer to prepare the vinaigrette or even mention it. The rosemary and garlic clove in the oil bottle was translucent and seemed to have served many refills of oil. The table was set with a dinner fork and a salad fork, but no greens were offered or served with the entre. I ordered the Gnocchi alla Prosciutto. "Homemade Gnocchi, crispy Prosciutto, and spinach in a four cheese rose sauce." The Prosciutto and spinach were disappointingly not a part of the dish but used only as a garnish. The sauce was tasty. Although they advertise it as a "four cheese rose sauce," it tastes a lot like a popular vodka sauce and was not made in-house. It is also note worthy that my entre was served less than 5 minuets after ordering. The Gnocchi is NOT homemade or potato based (it may have some potato starch), but a shelfstable flour based product that was not boiled before serving. Or, if it was boiled, the fact that the entire dish was heatd in a microwave before serving still resulted in a gummy unfinished Gnocchi. The sauce and my hunger were enough to motivate me to finish the dish. A fact, that as I am sitting here 2 hours later on a rest stop toilet with a garbage can in front of me, I am strongly regretting. Campylobacter and most other common stains of food poisoning take a day or more to incubate. So, if it was the food that made me sick, that suggests either spoiled product, unsafe food preparation, or a combination of both. Here is the really scary realization: 2 of the specials were seafood dishes, including shrimp and lobster. They may be using spoiled food. They may be using un-safe food handling practices. And if they are boiling any of that seafood in chlorinated water, they may be serving chloramine. If I am this sick from the Gnocchi, I am SO GLAD I did not get the special. The server confirmed that they lied about my dish's ingredient list. Yet, they are still charging full price for, at best, a fast food product. Look at the STEEP drop-off in good reviews in the last year. It would seem that someone is letting the food quality slip in recent months. As I did finish my meal, I paid my bill in full and left a fair gratuity for the server. I really hope this establishment can realize the pattern, identify the problems, and implement safe and honest restaurant practices. This was a very disappointing experience.

We picked Chef Alfredo's for a celebratory anniversary dinner. The manager (I think?) picked a room she thought could be more private and it was! We had the majority of the evening to ourselves. Our server took great care of us. The food was all delicious. The "homemade bread" with carmelized onions on top was tasty. We got the artichoke spinach dip with crunchy pita and we loved it. It was so richly creamy. We appreciated the perfect ratio of bread to dip! On point. For entrees we chose chicken alfredo fettuccine and chicken parmesan. Both were wonderful. The marinara on the parmesan was fresh and slightly sweet, and the dish had plenty of cheese which I would expect. The alfredo was thick and creamy but also carried plenty of flavor, not just cream. Chicken was delicious and moist rather than dry which often happens. We were not offered any drinks after we told the server we were not interested in wine. We also thought one of the entrees was meant to come with a side but it was never mentioned. Overall it was a great dinner and experience. We were generously offered a complimentary dessert for our celebration! We tried the lava cake which was plenty tasty. The sponge was too dry with no real "lava" to self sauce the cake like I think it ought to, but it was still warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Classic and tasty.

First time here. 9 of us in back room. Music wasn't great but atmosphere otherwise ok. Would like to see Cole Zero as an option. Server (Kendall, I think) was great. Brought carat of Diet Coke since 4 of us had it--love when places do this. Apps were great: fried raviolis (see pic) presentation and taste was great, bruschetta was 2nd best we've had (and been to Italy 3 times). And plenty of bread, oil, and balsamic--what a great Italian place should serve! Mains included Chicken Parm, Pollo Limone, seafood pasta, tortellini, stuffed shells. Everyone really loved their food. We were too stuff for dessert (a good sign) but it looked good too. They add 20% service for 8 ppl. Not abnormal but when places do this, that is what I tip. If the service is great, and let me choose, I'll do more. And server didn't point it out--prob her only miss for the night IMO. I think servers should always point out added gratuity. But maybe my opinion is rare. $350 for 9 of us -- 2 apps, 9 entrees, 5 sodas, and added service. Not a bargain but really good food, good size servings, and we all enjoyed it. We made a reservations a week out--strongly encouraged but I didn't see anyone really waiting for a table either.

I am not one to post hardly any reviews online, but it's something I feel needs to be done. I have always had great experiences here, but on Valentine's day I was treated so poorly that I will never be returning (even though we love the food). I had family in town for the day and we did not want to try and find an open restaurant for all of us. We planned ahead and checked with the website and called the store to make sure online ordering for take-out was still an option on such a busy day. They informed me it was, so we put in our order ahead of time (which happened to be $200). I got to the restaurant 5 minutes early. They informed me my order was not ready and to stand and wait. I was not offered to sit in the waiting area, but just wait by the front door. That was just fine except I ended up waiting 1hr and 15mins for my order!! They had me stand next to the front door the entire time. I actually just stood there and closed their door for them with each customer that came in since it wouldn't stay shut. I understand it was a crazy night, but take out shouldn't have been an option if they couldn't accommodate for it. I was treated so poorly. It was humiliating to stand there and shut the door over and over and wait and wait. I just stood and watched everyone quietly eating. I was very patient and did not make a fuss, but it was humiliating. The hostess did check on the order a few times and I understand she was stressed with such a busy night. But if you cannot accommodate online ordering, DON'T offer it! You may wonder why I didn't just tell them to refund me and leave...customers did come in after me waiting for their online orders and the hostess let them know they could not receive a refund since their online system was done by a third party member. At this point I had already waited 45mins and had hungry kids and family members waiting for me in the car, plus we had spent over $200. I never received an apology from anyone, I was never offered a seat, a discount, nothing. I am a very down to earth person, I never raised my voice or complained - but I will never recommend this restaurant again. My husband and I use to visit here multiple times a year, but we will never ever again. I am so disappointed and sad that I literally felt I had to leave this review months later after deciding if it was worth it. I just don't want this to happen to anyone else. Many things could have been done differently that night. I drove home in tears that night and still think about it. In my eyes, customer service is much more important then the quality of food. There are so many other great restaurants in St. George, if you took the time to read this, don't waste your time and just find another place to spend your hard...

When you go to a "high end", expensive restaurant you expect high end, expensive service. Let me start with that this was the second night this year where we went on a date for an expensive meal/date night.

I called two weeks before to make a reservation because it was for my birthday and I wanted to make sure we had a good date night.

We show up & they don't have the reservation, looks like no big deal because very few people were in the restaurant. Everyone was running around all weird like which should have clicked that we were there 30 min before they close. When I called two weeks before the hostess could have easily said that they closed at 9 and I would have changed the reservation to 7:30 or 8pm.

The server was AMAZING and deserves 5stars. The restaurant, manager and Owner is what knocked it down to one.

We're enjoying our expensive bottle of wine we splurged on and our salads when the owner sits down right next to us while FaceTiming his wife (I assume). I could see she was in bed, kids were screaming over the phone and the volume was loud so you could hear their conversation. Ruined the atmosphere!

Then the manager rudely walks up and interrupts a romantic moment barking at us that we were 20 min past closing time. We had still some wine left but had already sent our card back with the server. It's not like we were hanging around and ordered one appetizer and spent the night wasting their time. And who eats dinner in 50 min?! We were trying to move fast for them when this wasn't our fault. They were lucky we didn't spend 90min there like most people do when they go sit down somewhere nice

When the server drops the card back the Manager then goes, "oh I didn't see you had a bottle of wine". There's no way she didn't notice that from across the room, she just hadn't realized we were already in the process of paying.

Such an incredibly rude and awful night. Even the food tasted rushed. My first time there was really nice and I'm just so disappointed on how we were treated. I don't know how we could ever go back after this. Just very terrible for a "high end"...
