Let me tell you, walking into Beach Town Yoga was like stepping into a realm where time does a double-take and age is just a number. As a self-proclaimed old-timer with the flexibility of a rusty lawn chair, I was more nervous than a cat at a dog show. But then came Crystal Kage, the yoga instructor extraordinaire, who transformed my creaky bones and anxious mind into a yogi’s delight. Picture this: a room full of people, ranging from spry 20 year olds to wise elders like myself, all coming together to bend, stretch, and occasionally wobble in unison. Crystal, with her radiant smile and patience that could tame a tornado, made yoga not just approachable, but downright enjoyable. She has a way of turning a downward dog into a playful pup and a tree pose into a majestic redwood covered in glitter. I was half-expecting to spend most of the class in a state of confusion, tangled up like a pretzel, but Crystal’s instructions were clearer than a summer day at the beach. She sprinkled in humor and rock and roll like a chef seasoning a dish, making us all laugh while we contorted ourselves into various shapes. At one point, I found myself in a position that can only be described as “The Confused Octopus,” but Crystal reassured me that even the best yogis start somewhere. The best part? Everyone was having a blast, regardless of their age or ability. We had a human kaleidoscope of folks, all groaning and giggling through poses. It was a scene straight out of a comedy sketch, with my bestie and I looking like we were trying to interpretive dance our way out of a paper bag. Yet, by the end of the session, everyone was a little more limber, a lot more relaxed, and grinning like Cheshire cats. So, if you’re looking for a yoga studio that feels like home, and an instructor who could coax flexibility out of a brick wall, Beach Town Yoga and Crystal Kage are your go-to. Trust me, if this old dog can learn some new tricks, so can you!

I just got back from my yoga teacher training with Beach Town Yoga and words cannot describe the intimate amazing experience we were offered during our time in Costa Rica. This was truly a life changing experience for myself and our entire group of students. I will carry this experience, what I learned, memories, and most importantly the love and passion that was created in this special place with me for the rest of my life. Special shout out to Courtney Nied for leading this special training. You brought us together in such a special way. Thank you for loving and supporting us. Thank you for sharing Costa Rica with us. Thank you for reminding me how rich life can really be. Thank you for showing how truly interconnected we all are. Love you so much girl. Special shoutout to Crystal, Leigha, Liv, Bryce and Brittany you guys freaking rock and I couldn’t have done it without you guys. Thank you for the endless advice, good tunes, laughs, friendships, amazing flows and everything you taught us. Lastly special shoutout out to Clare and Noah. I go to Noah’s class every Friday at 5:30. He has helped me through countless bad days and weeks with our Friday flow and really made me feel apart of the family that Beach Town has. Clare, you are a light and you bring light and love into every room you walk into. Without you I wouldn’t of had this life changing opportunity. Thank you for seeing something in me and encouraging me to follow it. Thank you for your support and love. I can’t thank Beach Town enough but all I can say is this place is special. Come and flow and see what all there is to offer.

I recently attended a night yin yoga session led by Emily, and it was truly a beautiful experience. From the moment I walked into the studio, I felt a sense of peace. The space is incredibly clean, calming, and thoughtfully set up. Emily herself is such a warm and spiritual presence—she goes above and beyond to make every student feel welcomed and seen. She even takes the time to learn new students’ names, which I found really thoughtful. The class was deeply relaxing, and Emily provided plenty of options for each pose, making it accessible whether you’re a beginner or more experienced. She is incredibly in tune with her students’ energy and needs—she could even sense I was having a rough day, and although she doesn’t know me very well, she gave me a heartfelt hug that was so comforting. If you’re open to it, she incorporates reiki and essential oils during the session, which added a really healing and personal touch. There’s also an option to pull from an oracle deck before or after class for a bit of clarity or reflection, which I loved. Whether you’re new to the area or just visiting, I’d highly recommend checking out one of Emily’s classes. You don’t need a membership, but after just one class, you might find yourself wanting to come back regularly. It’s more than just yoga—it’s a whole experience of grounding, connection, and care.

From the moment I stepped onto my mat, I was enveloped in the wonderful vibes that Karlie effortlessly creates. Her energy is contagious, and it immediately puts you at ease, making you feel right at home.

Karli’s knowledge of yoga is truly impressive. She has a deep understanding of the practice and is able to guide us through poses with such clarity and precision. Her attention to detail ensures that everyone, regardless of their skill level, feels supported and challenged in just the right way. It’s clear she’s passionate about helping her students grow and thrive.

The flow of her class is simply beautiful. Karli seamlessly integrates movements and breath, creating a harmonious rhythm that makes every session feel like a dance. Her playlists are spot on, enhancing the experience and making it easy to get lost in the moment.

What I love most about Karli is her genuine kindness and warmth. She creates a safe and inviting space where everyone feels valued and encouraged. It’s no surprise that she is my favorite and the best instructor at Beachtown Yoga – she truly has a gift for connecting with her students and inspiring them to reach their fullest potential.

If you’re looking to deepen your yoga practice or simply want to enjoy a wonderfully uplifting experience, I wholeheartedly recommend joining one of karli’s classes. You won’t just leave feeling revitalized; you’ll also carry a piece of her positive energy with you long after the class ends. Thank you, Karli, for being such a remarkable instructor and for sharing your light with all...
