The Great Escape Room St Pete — Attraction in Saint Petersburg

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing The Haunted Hotel at The Great Escape Room St. Pete, and it was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we stepped into the venue, the ambiance was captivating. The Haunted Hotel theme was executed perfectly, with eerie decorations and an immersive storyline that set the mood for an unforgettable adventure.

The puzzles were cleverly designed and challenging, striking the perfect balance between difficulty and fun. Each puzzle was unique and tied seamlessly into the haunted hotel narrative, making us feel like we were truly part of the story. The attention to detail in every aspect of the room was impressive, from the spooky sound effects to the intricate props.

The staff were fantastic—enthusiastic, professional, and genuinely invested in ensuring we had a great time. Their hints were helpful without giving too much away, allowing us to feel the thrill of solving the puzzles on our own. A special shoutout to our game master, who added an extra layer of excitement with their engaging and spooky persona.

One particular highlight was the grand finale, which left us all exhilarated and talking about our favorite moments long after we had escaped. The Haunted Hotel is a must-visit for anyone looking for a top-tier escape room experience. We can't wait to return and try out the other rooms....

This was our first time at The Great Escape Room in St. Pete. It was a great experience!!! Lauren and Dave were amazing hosts! I called prior to arrival as this location is in downtown St. Pete and parking can be a challenge most of the time. I spoke to Lauren and she told me that the street, which they are located on was closed for a Halloween event and that parking might be a challenge.

With that said we left early to avoid any delay. So glad I called as parking was insane. We ended up finding a parking spot a few blocks away and were arrived about 15 mins early.

When we arrived Dave greeted us, checked us in and FORCED US to fill out the waivers!!! Okay maybe I lied about forced us but he was very helpful and got us all setup and ready for our big mission.

We signed up for the Escape Artist: Houdini's Final Contact Escape Room. Once it was time Mr. Dave gave us the background on the room and he was gone to let us to figure out how to ESCAPE!!!.

Needless to say we had a few technical difficulties along with some confusion and we were unable to escape within the allotted time. But without Lauren and Dave's help we would most likely had to spend the evening there.

My family and I enjoyed Father's day by spending the afternoon trying to solve all the puzzles in the Houdini room. Although we never finished on time, we still had a blast! Our group had 8 people which made it a bit crowded but we found a way to ecape into the second room and just came up short, missing out on a critical clue that left us stuck for a while. It was my first experience and we will go back to try the other room. If I were to critique our experience, I would suggest a smaller group, probably four people at a time. Secondly after we left, everyone in our group agreed it was overpriced for the hour that we were given. We spent $312 for our group of 8 for the hour. They offered a return experience for $25 for the next time we visited which I feel is probably a more fair price. . Overall, we enjoyed our time and it is very well done.
