St. Pete Boat Tours — Local services in Saint Petersburg

Our group of 6 chartered a boat for the dolphin cruise. We arrived and stood there waiting for someone to direct us to our boat and when no one did I spoke to a young lady spraying off one of the boats. She said it couldn't be her because she has a different group. She didn't know anything about our group coming for a tour so she called who I assume to be her boss. She confirmed my name. She asked if I booked earlier this morning and I told her I had booked around midnight(it was 1:21AM). Then she said the water was rough and we would get wet. It was too rough to go out. So I was told I would be refunded and I was. Pier Dolphin cruise around the corner was able to accommodate us and we had a fantastic time. They were launching kayaks as well and had no issues with inclement weather. It seemed like St Pete Boat Tour was not prepared for something I was able to book and pay for. There needs to be a cut off/start time for boat charters so the company is more aware when someone makes a reservation. Someone could have called. It shouldn't have taken us getting there from different parts of St Pete and waiting only to be told that we're not going to be able to go....

Such a great experience and well worth it! I read many reviews before booking a snorkeling cruise for my family. We went with St. Pete Boat Tours because every review was positive and spoke highly of Captain Aaron. Captain Aaron was not available the day we went out so we were with Captain Kyle and we had the best time. He was super personable, easy to be around, knew his way on the water and took my family to some awesome spots. We snorkeled, swam, saw dolphins, and just enjoyed a day out on the water. My kids are 13 and 9, so keeping their interest for a prolonged period of time can be hard, but this was a great way to spend some device free family time. I can't say enough good things about...

We booked a last minute 4 hour boat ride for 6. Captain Dave was awesome about providing us with all of the info we needed beforehand. Our 4 hour cruise was such a fun experience! With three kids who wanted some swim/snorkel time, Dave took us to a sandbar where we found sand dollars and conch. He took us on a tour of beautiful waterfront homes, an island filled with all kinds of nesting birds and finished off with a pod of dolphins who hung around our boat for over 10 minutes!

I love that the boat had ample shade, comfortable and clean seats, and a cooler filled with ice and water.
