Lee-Hi Lanes — Attraction in Salem

I am a bowler from New Jersey and while away on vacation we decided to throw a couple games so I stay in practice. I must say I was not at all impressed. The look of the lanes was very nice and very clean but I can’t say the same for the way the place is run. Not only am I a bowler but I am a manager at my local bowling alley, and the service that we saw while there would never be acceptable at my house. We had issues with our keypad not working and constantly going to the desk to enter games etc. I had a few distributor malfunctions in my lane that we call in my house a pine pile. When I went to the desk to report the problem the woman at the desk was on her phone completely ignoring me; I had to actually say excuse me after waiting almost a minute for her to acknowledge me. The lane conditions were not good at all. It seemed like you guys put a 60 foot patter down as opposed to the standard 40-45 foot house shot. When I can’t get most aggressive ball on the market to hook it does not make for an enjoyable time. It was very frustrating to practice. We honestly only threw one quick game before leaving. Run down and poor service. We had two lanes, one would have to be reset often. Was not offered another lane, poor selection of balls. Food service was horrible. Prices different from menu at the lanes to what was told at the grill, took us almost a full game to get any of the food. Cash only, funny since right behind us the lane rental desk took cards. The cook was rude and yelled at a person while we was waiting, saying it was not her problem and she only makes minimum wage. Worst part she went from food, to wiping off the counter, to handling money then back to handling the food. Not once washing her hands or using any gloves. 2 Very rude 60 year old ladies working at the counter totally ignoring me for 15 minutes I just wanted to buy a drink for my kids while waiting for our lane to open. These two ladies decided to keep pretending that I wasn’t there even though, I was right in front of their faces and only 2 feet away. They were too busy talking to the same guy... I think they were both trying to date him which was weird because the guy was like 30, and the ladies were in their late 60s or maybe older.
