I thought this place was ok: not amazing, not bad.
As of March 2025, it costs $45 to book a 2 hour slot. I think that is a fair price.
They have a dry sauna, a steam room, a cold plunge, a relaxation pool, a bar with some juice and tea, and a fenced in outdoor patio.
The good: the decor is very stylish and modern, and the tall ceilings make it seem more spacious the facilities were clean and nothing was broken, the locker rooms were nice as well the staff was very pleasant and helpful
The bad: the dry sauna and steam room do not get very hot, which was really disappointing. In the dry sauna an employee comes in every now and then to pour water over the hot rocks, but it still isn't very hot the relaxation pool was very strangely built, and the seating around the edge is so high that your feet don't touch the ground and half your torso protrudes from the water, most people kind of propped themselves up against the wall so they could be up to their necks, but it wasn't very conducive to relaxation the seating in the spa area was not very comfortable, after doing a few rounds I would like to lounge and relax, but there were only a few uncomfortable chairs and stone benches it would have been very nice if they had a hot tub, but I understand space is limited
I understand that short of rebuilding the pool there isn't much they can do about that, but if the owner reads this I would suggest doing an exit survey of whether people though the saunas were too warm, just right, or could be warmer. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks they should be warmer, but it's worth checking with other clientele because it's an easy fix and in my opinion it would greatly improve...
Read moreI’m obsessed with glow!!! I’ve been to a lot of bathhouses/spas in other cities and was craving one immensely. I decided to See if there was one in SLC and I was delighted to find glow! Their facility is beautiful, clean, and clear on etiquette. I’m a trans person and I felt very safe and comfortable here, all the staff were super kind, and I had no issues. This is definitely more of a social bathhouse but I appreciated the active tenants that rang the gong when it got too loud. I did not feel out of place being alone with my book, but can’t wait to bring back friends. I’ve also been to saunas/steam rooms and they either had too much eucalyptus or smelled like feet but theirs was so clean and neutral so it was very accessible to people who are sensitive to smells. I also got the most delightful sugar scrub. A lot of sugar scrubs seem to be an after thought but this place took time and care. I can’t remember my service providers name but she was so kind and joyful, along with communicative and consensual leading not only to a ammmmazing scrub but also I felt like I could ask for needs like a towel, temperature adjustment, ect. But seriously though, get a sugar scrub you’ll feel like a scrubbed down rotisserie chicken (they thought of everything in this room, thank you warming light). I liked that they had a patio and hope they do more with it! Seriously considering a second job just so I can go multiple times a week. Speaking of, they have very clear pricing which is so helpful and stress free. Accessible, clean, relaxing, I almost want to gatekeep; but go support! I will be back....
Read moreCannot say enough good things about Glow. I was visiting from out of state and got recommended to check this place out, so I squeezed it in my last day in SLC and could not be any happier I did!
Josh helped me book two hours in the bathhouse and a massage with Laura same day while I was traveling. He was so pleasant and efficient, and left a lovely follow up email which made it easy for me to stay on schedule when I was having a hectic day!
Marty (I hope that is spelled correctly) checked me in and showed me around when I arrived, and she was super informative. I also saw her handle an awkward interaction with another guest who had their phone out with grace and a pleasant attitude and was so impressed by that!
The facilities are super well maintained, clean, and nicely laid out. The water in the pool and cold plunge were both clear, and there are complimentary yoga mats to use on the patio which was so nice!
Finally, I'm not being dramatic when I say I think Laura changed my life with that massage! Her specialty is sports massage and after a week of hiking I told her to really do her thing. She knows her stuff! I alternated between that trance-like feeling and "hurts so good" in the best way! She's also REALLY personable and funny which is a lovely bonus :)
This place is really truly special, check it out if you're on the fence! I hope to be back soon for...
