I love Smooth Lake City so much! I've raved about this place to my loved ones. Leah is incredible and so talented, and she's easily one of the best people I've met. She took care of my electrolysis for two years, and I only stopped coming here because I moved out of state. She becomes more than your technician--she becomes a life-long friend. Her studio's ambience is so soothing, you forget you're even getting zapped. She has a fabulous music playlist, but you're also welcome to listen to your own music. She has a unique, comforting bedside manner that makes electrolysis feel like a breeze. She's also fun to talk to and a safe, inclusive being who's cultivated a safe atmosphere. She communicates every step of the way clearly so you're never wondering where you're at in the process. I was her Wednesday night regular, and she always ensured I was booked for that night to match my availability. Everything Leah does is full of love. There is nothing bad to say about this place. Leah is absolutely amazing, highly skilled and so sweet. Her space is open and very clean, and the chair is so comfortable. The atmosphere is great, and she has great taste in music. Her communication about the process was better than I've ever experienced. I had been going to another place nearby for TWO YEARS, working on the same areas, and while I saw some improvement, it was nowhere near what Leah has accomplished in just a few short weeks. We’ve even been able to move to different areas that I’ve been wanting to work on and I've been getting great results there as well. Leah is also a Master Esthetician and has helped me develop an actual skin care regime with super high quality products that have really improved the texture and appearance of my skin. Leah the owner, is not friendly and turns away business. Scheduled an appointment as a new patient and had a family emergency come up the day of my appointment. Tried to reschedule and was then told of a zero tolerance for rescheduling. Note, this was never talked about when booking. I would of been happy to pay a fee due to my emergency situation. Leah refused to see me as a patient without any knowledge of her "policy." My boyfriend stopped by to talk to her to explain the situation, Leah wouldn't come out and talk, but spoke between a wall. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your electrolysis needs!!! As a small business, it is crazy that they would turn away buisness. It is in the beauty industry and comes with the job of scheduling. It is really sad that Leah would not take the time to understand an emergency situation because obviously her time is more important than others and she wont treat you...
