Rinse Hair Salon ✂ — Attraction in Salt Lake City

Seriously the worst place I've gone to. I've had my hair messed up twice in a row from previous places and was hoping this one would be the place to finally get it right. I called before hand to ask how much the price for men's hair is. They said 12$. I also asked if they could do a two block hair cut and they said they know how. My hair didn't look anything like a two block haircut and they charged me 18$ for a hair cut and thought I said something about two black men instead of a two block haircut. Seriously don't say you know how to do a certain haircut if you can't and also don't tell me its 12$ when its 18$. While I was getting my haircut the lady wasn't even paying attention to my hair and messed it up so bad. I showed her multiple pictures of what I wanted and all she was focused on was how much she fangirls over the guys in the pictures. She even bragged how she watches those guys and how to cut their hair but it didn't look anything like it. The stylist didn't even get the basics of how the hair should be. Just cut it into shape, shave the sides and leave the top alone. How do I know that even when I'm not even a stylist. I'm sorry but I'm not...

My recent visit to Rinse Hair Salon turned into a nightmare as my daughter's haircut was terribly uneven and choppy, resembling a DIY job rather than a professional service. To add insult to injury, the exorbitant price I paid for the subpar haircut felt like a complete rip-off, highlighting the salon's profit-driven approach over quality service. The staff's lack of concern for customer satisfaction further compounded the disappointment, making it clear that Rinse Hair Salon prioritizes money over genuine care. I strongly caution others to avoid this salon at all costs, as it was one of the worst experiences I've had, leaving me infuriated and regretful of ever stepping foot in their establishment.

UPDATE

I recently went back and the salon was generous enough to make it right. That being said, I am changing my rating from 1 star to 3. It shouldn’t have happened in the first place, but I’d definitely give them another chance.

P.S: As a business manager please make sure that each stylist is attentive of the client instead of socializing with their colleagues. It’s important to make every customer’s experience...

This place has always had bad service. I usually take my kids for hair cuts and the hairdressers are always on their phone texting or just seem distracted. I went to take my kids for a hair cut and the owner (I think her name is Tran) had just finished a ladies hair. I wanted to wax but was waiting for another stylist to finish, I waited for about an hour before she took it upon herself to do my eyebrows and I admit they came out fine.

Well 3 weeks later and here I am. I walked it and it was just rowdy, the owner had what seemed her friends and they were all laughing and just having a good ol time. She told me to wait in the room for waxing. I’m thinking she’s going to come soon, well was I wrong. She sent in a lady called Janet and she seemed pretty nice. But I could tell right away she had no experience!! All I could hear was the loud ladies just yapping away and laughing. The owner has never cared about the customers and just had bad customer service. I don’t know how this place has a 4.6 star rating. I added my eyebrow clean up for reference.
