Salon Keiji — Attraction in Salt Lake City

I used to have beautiful thick Long healthy hair. About a year ago, I had some severe health issues that have continued to snow ball to this day. It drained my hair of any life, thinned it out, and anytime I would go get my roots done to try and feel pretty again, it just ended up destroying my hair. So much breakage. I lost around 8 inches of hair over the span of about a year, and more than half of the thickness. This was such a gut blow on top of my health declining so fast. So many tears. I was going to buzz my head and start wearing wigs. Before I did that though, I researched online, to find the best reviews for someone that is Absolutely Phenomenal when it comes restoring hair, cut and color. When I found out Keiji was that guy….but it took 4 months to get in to him….I cried. Lol. The sweet receptionist listened to my sob story, put me on the cancellation list and got me in within a couple weeks. Keiji, the miracle worker, has now done my hair 3 times….. There are no words for the amount of difference he’s made. My hair is filling in sooo quickly. The pace at which my hair is thickening I didn’t even know was possible. It’s got it’s shine and bounce back. To have hair that was not growing, but actually becoming shorter by the month for almost a year, to all of a sudden reverse and be able to see the growth in my roots match the growth in the length….was like Christmas morning!! After the very first visit….I got the first compliment on my hair in over a year…..when I used to get them regularly. Don’t even hesitate!!!! Go to this amazing man! My boyfriend and I came here for cut, bleaching, and fashion colors. Our appointment time was respected on the dot (even allowed us in a little early since we misjudged how little traffic there would be to get there). Right from the get go, everyone was extremely friendly and professional. They actually took our temps, which was nice to see. Loads of places have started slacking on covid precautions but this one clearly still believes in safety. We were both very happy with our hairdressers! I let mine know right away that I am not a super social person so she allowed me to guide the conversation. Meanwhile, my boyfriend, who is very social, was allowed to get his chatty-ness out. Bex helped me decide on my colors since ombre wasn't really going to work with the short style I wanted. She also was super helpful since I have a color shift so she let me know orange would blend better with red than yellow would. All in all, we were overwhelmingly happy with the care given during our trip to this salon! Neither of us can think of anything negative to say.

EDIT AS OF JUNE 7TH 2021 : Came here to get rainbow hair dye for Pride month! Had Bex and Victoria, again. They remembered our conversations from the previous time and continued on like old friends which was so comforting! Our hair looks AWESOME. I went with a dark rainbow and my boyfriend went super bright. I am trying to figure out a way to attach a secondary photo so hopefully you can see. All in all, another 10/10 experience!
