Broadway Pinups — Attraction in San Antonio

I bought a dress for my work Christmas party from here. I was in between two different sizes and spent a good while deciding in the dressing room. I was never rushed and was offered all the help I needed. The day before the Christmas party I decided that I wanted to exchange it for the other size. I called before going over and thank goodness they still had it! When I got there, one of the associates was already pulling it off the rack and getting it ready for me. And they did the exchange so quick and easy which was super awesome for me since I was running late going back to work on my lunch break and had had two cups of coffee and really needed to go to the restroom. 😬 I got soo many compliments at the Christmas party, not only from many of my coworkers, but from other patrons dining at the restaurant. (which was at Myron's Steakhouse so you know they were fancy people🤑) It was so cool and it made me feel real happy on the inside. Oh my god where do I start ? I dreamed of coming to this store ever since I’ve heard of it. I do not make it out to San Antonio much but now that my parents live here, I made it a point to show up even if it was to purchase something small. I was looking at a dress for a wedding I’m going to next year and found it on Broadways and another site. Broadways price was way better and I wanted to try it on in person. I called ahead to make sure my size was in stock . The day I came in was the day I was headed out to the airport so I didn’t have a lot of time to shop. Luckily this place is about 20 min from the airport so I was good. When I came in they had the dresses waiting for me to try on. I was successful, got my dream dress, and their advice to me was very helpful. These ladies are super sweet, the shopping experience was one of the best ever in my life. If you enjoy shopping at small businesses, love vintage and retro-inspired outfits, and experience difficulty in finding unique styles in department stores that both look good AND make you feel like you’re living your best life, then Broadway Pinups will be your favorite boutique. 🙂

First, the ladies are really nice, helpful, and accommodating! I appreciate that they’re not in the shoppers’ faces, like I’ve sometimes seen at other shops. Casually browsing is fun and filled with good vibes!

Second, everything I’ve bought has been quality, fun, and totally wearable for all sorts of occasions (including work, which is a plus). They have a gently-used section too, so don’t sleep on that either. I especially love that they feature locally-made clothes and accessories here too.

Lastly, I probably should’ve already known, but shopping here taught me that knowing my measurements helps! Sometimes I’ve sized up and other times, I’ve sized down, but that’s with clothing in general.
