this post is about cashier liddo customer service and manager Jasmine. this is my neighborhood heb, 3 minutes away. I have a 3 month old son & had some diapers from my baby shower that i needed to EXCHANGE for a different size and brand. I had a total of 4 of the small packs of diapers & 2 small size of the boxes. i went to customer service and told her it was from a baby shower (gifted) what can i do to exchange or how it worked… the cashier told me they couldn’t unless they were HEB brand.. w/o receipt.i asked for ‘return policy’ because of me needing diapers my son was on his last and me loading up the car… she dialed the phone then asked for someone in baby dept to call customer service dept. (why? if it most likely should of been a manager.. not everyone in baby dept is a manager or probably will know the return policy) someone phones her and she’s asking me questions such as, are they open, what was i trying to do (given i already told her) if i had a receipt, how many do i have. she didn’t ask for my ID. didn’t tell me anything in the line of “let me see what we can do” just straight up NO. another cashier comes and seems to look like she’s going to help me and take over transaction. nope. so manager comes and tells me “she understands “ i got them gifted for a baby shower but can not help me. i asked for return policy and she said it’s “managers discretion “ i then asked okay is there a limit or how it works… she said no there is no limit of return but w/o receipt she can’t exchange. & mentioned that i brought “quiet a few” (meaning the diapers) what does that mean? if i brought 2 at a time? 3 at a time? i could of done it no problem? i then asked her okay what can you help me with she said “this one” a SMALL COUNT and just ONE. that was because i asked what she can do for me, not offering that she can help with anything… so you mean to tell me there is no limit or return policy for diapers!! that are gifted it’s just up to a manager that day that want to do their job. that is feeling in a good mood to help out?? i ended up leaving & cried! i have my 3 month old with me in this heat just to leave again and load all the diapers again.. i ended up going to Valley Hi where they helped me out no hassle, no fuss & i vented to them because i was stressed about having to find a store that will help. and they said they never heard of such a thing from HEB. 2nd photo of the gift card & first photo of me having a great morning before being told no with no help.

The truth is that she is kind to people who only speak Spanish, it is clear that it bothers her that we speak Spanish. The young lady is working for a company. She should be kind. If she is bitter at home, let her be at home. But at work, the best customer service: very disappointed with this element that they have there. It would be better if she were in the butcher shop cutting meat. I signaled to my husband that we would go pay with a cashier at another register 😔 This happened between 1:50 pm and 2:07 pm on Wednesday, September 24. I was wearing a pink shirt.

I have seen on more than one occasion, spoiled produce sitting in with new produce. Rotten lemons, oranges and apples randomly sitting in with whatever produce is there. Also not sure who they buy from but even spoiling produce inside of containers of bags. Such as spoiled blue berries and etc in the middle inside of the container or buying a bag of mandarins, and there is one covered in white mold in the middle of the bag.

This location use to be so much better, and all the years I have lived in this region I have seen it go downhill prior to the pandemic.

Decided to come back and shorten the long novel I had previous. I use to really love this HEB, and bought dedicatedly from it. At this point I only come here for meat and other items that are not their brand. A few items I still bought under them, like their freezer zip locks but at this point I am no longer buying HEB brand. Reason being they have cut back on quality yet prices still the same or have risen higher.

I highly depend on their freezer zip lock bags. It was one of the things I trust was both good quality and great price. Twice they have reduced the quality of the ziplocks. I can tell when the seal itself feels super thin and they dont click and hold like they should. I was dumb enough to still want to have faith in their product after opening and seeing how cheap they are not made. I made soup today 3/10/2025. There wasnt much left and it had cooled so I usually will put it in freezer bags and freeze it if im not looking to eat it in the next two days. So on extremely busy days I can pull it back out, cut it and reheat it up. Well I placed it inside the fridge cause I was actually looking to eat some for lunch before freezing. I made sure to press it across three times. It barely made cheap little clicks. From what I saw the past couple of days using their freezer ziplocks, if you didnt seal it right it just slides uneven then opens. Its quickly noticeable before even placing it in the fridge. The gallon ziplock wasnt even full and I sat the top part of it up against one side of the fridge. I came back to get my kids something out the fridge only to find the entire bag of soup and its contents were now spilled in the fridge. Into the draws where i store my vegetables, and into the sandwich meat tray. So food lost and wasted, which is something no one can afford at this time. I knew when i tried to seal the first one I pulled out from the box that the quality had been drastically changed. I no longer trust in HEB or their products, if they choose to want to cut...

I have gone to this H.E.B. in the past and have always had great experiences before. The staff is very professional and they do go out of there way to ensure customer satisfaction.

However 2 days ago my son and I where here to get some food so I can cook dinner that night and when we where going to check out, my son and I where in a express line for 15 items or fewer

And when so I was in front of someone who had a lot more than the required items, it was frustrating to see that. So I went to a different check out line very I was taken care of quicker.

I did brings this to the attention of Management to let them know of the issue. I was told that they had to send employees home. For some reasons of work hours.

I do understand the labor laws however to transfer the customers to the express lines is not a good excuse. These lines are for people who do not have a lot of groceries. So there is NO REASON for them to take those spaces up. I did not appreciate that at all.

Today My daughter and I went over here to get some groceries and when doing so I was in a express line and when so the lady who was in front of me paid for her groceries. I ordered my Lyft and this lady decided to pay the remainder of her groceries using her benefits card, instead of the cashier letting the lady know to let me take care of this customer who has cash the cashier was taking her time with this customer and instead of hearing both sides they take her side. They had security there. There was no need for that Jacob the manager did not even want to hear my side. After I got home with my daughter and I got home with are groceries and the Security there is very un- professional. I will be calling there company there from. I made a call to HEB Plus spoke to Daniella the front end Manager hopefully it will be taken care of and your company realizes why people get up set waiting in a express line take my recommendation seriously you have self check out but you also need a Cash only register someone who only takes cash The HEB should have 2 cash only registers one for express line and one of them the regular register this will definitely keep people from not getting upset with having to wait. Nobody shows consideration right now and that needs to STOP. Till this situation is fixed I ADVISE PEOPLE not to shop at this HEB Plus at...
