I absolutely dislike going to Chick-fil-A on Marbach and 410. Their service is really bad and the order takers that stand outside always seem grouchy. You can tell they really hate their job. I would rather go to McDonald's right across the street than have to order from the people that stand outside but my son has digestive problems and can only eat grilled chicken nuggets.
Today as usual, I placed three separate orders and the lady kept rushing me and made it clear that I can ONLY place three orders. Fine, I can take my money where they don't mind if I place three orders or more. What does it matter anyway?
Got to the pick-up window, the girl handed me a wrong order. I gave it back and waited for them to give me the correct order. No smile, not even a thank you, just very angrily shoved the bag in my hands. It's not my fault if you cant get the orders correct. We were in a good mood before placing the order but left feeling very disappointed. I expected a higher level of customer service from this restaurant.
When I thought it couldn't get any worse, I arrived home to find my order was wrong again. I called to see if I can get a refund but was placed on hold and no one ever came to the phone.
And now I wait for a response from the owners to apologize for their mistake, blah, blah, blah. Maybe you should go through the drive-thru and see what we as customers have to deal with then make the appropriate changes.
UPDATE: I called back later that same day and spoke with the Marketing Director and she said she was not able to give me a refund but would replace the entire meal. I thought, wow that's great. She said I could go through the drive-thru to pick it up since my son is disabled. She said she was making note of this information in the books for reference. I made sure with her before hanging up the phone that it would be ok to go through the drive-thru and she said yes. They should not give me any hassle. She said she would let them know and it would be all set.
Fast forward to today, 04/02/2019. My husband goes in to pick up my sons replacement order through the drive-thru and with our luck, the marketing director is not in and they start being rude and giving my husband a lot of hassle. This is exactly what I was afraid of but the marketing director reassured me that she would let them know. So my husband calls me from the drive-thru and tells me that they do not want to honor the replacement order.
Ok, so I get on the phone and immediately call Chick-fil-A and the manager is on the phone with me. She says they cannot give my husband the order because the marketing director had not spoken to them about us picking it up through the drive-thru. I explain that my son is disabled and cannot go inside for the order.
After five minutes on the phone with her trying to explain the situation, she still did not understand so I told her to go check the books. She puts me on hold and finally comes back. She says she did not know that the marketing director had given us permission to go through the drive-thru so they finally gave my husband the correct meal. He said they were rude, weird, and totally unaware of the entire situation.
This is exactly what should NOT happen from a Christian establishment. To avoid this from happening again, we will be taking our business elsewhere.
Also, the owners response was very snarky and tried to cover up their mistake by saying some people only focus on the negativity. Well, if your establishment projects negativity don't you think it's time to correct the real problem?
I am also a Christian and also believe in Christian values but to belittle and mistreat customers who belong to the disabled community is way beyond evil and you can hear it in the tone of the owners response.
It is also not polite to expose our names that were given to the marketing director in your response, that information should be kept private. This was done out of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNever have I ever had a bad experience at Chick fil-A at any of there locations until today. Very dissapointed in the unprofessionalism of a so called manager. Usually we frequently eat at this location and it's busy for the most part but we went today Friday November 5, 2018 right before closing through drive thru since the line wasn't to bad and I was just ordering one combo. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich meal not the deluxe which I found out at the window that's what the cashier was going to give me. When I told the cashier I ordered the plain with pickles only she sincerely apologized and gave me the correct meal. As I was leaving (still in the parking lot) the meal wasn't for me it was for my sister and she was about to eat it in the car when she noticed less the half of the fries were in the container. So we parked got off and let the manager Alana know. She was very unprofessional accusing us of basically lying that it wasn't a mistake on there end and had to review tape. Go ahead got nothing to hide why would we be complaining about fries. Mind you my receipt still had the upcharge of a spicy deluxe when I didn't care about the measly change difference to ask for that in return when it was a mistake on their end not even the cashier working the drive thru charge me the correct meal when she had to change out my sandwich. Footage was reviewed by this so called manager and she goes on to say maybe they were dropped in the car. Umm no maybe the worker switching out the sandwich dropped them out of the bag at the drive thru. Manager refused to replace med fry and gave a small fry which we paid for a medium meal. Also gave the difference of change from the mistake of the meal difference which I never asked for because like I said I wasn't going to argue over a few cents. We took the meal but went back in and got a refund on the whole order because my sister couldn't enjoy the food that was paid for in peace. Would give 0 stars if it was an option since she didn't get to enjoy her food. Went across the street to Whataburger and paid more for delightful service. After telling this manager we will visit other Chic- Fil-A restauransts in the future she just said ok. No apology nothing she shouldn't be working customer service especially with her attitude. This is not the Chic-fil-A image that I've experienced...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe just moved here, and honestly I was very disappointed. The other chick fil a where we moved from is always āMy pleasure!ā And very kind. We get to the drive through window and they gave away our meal to someone else with the same name.. not a big deal, we were fine. We said no problem. They hand us a meal that isnāt ours and we kindly say hey this is for another Jason. And the tags clearly read a Navy Truck and we were in a Silver Sedan with no front plates because car is registered in a different state. Well we sit there waiting and the guy running orders starts arguing with the girls inside. They hand us our large āsweetā teas that are no where near sweet then He asks us to pull up. We sit there. No straws. Two large very unsweet teas. Wait for about 10 more minutes. We were already waiting in the drive through for about 10-15 minutes. He finally runs over to our car and hands us our two bags. No straws, no forks, no sauce. As he runs off to help the other customers, heās about 10-15 steps away and I say hey thereās no forks or straws! Well he yells back theyāre in the bag. Oh they definitely werenāt in our barren bags of food. This wouldnāt have been an issue if he ran back out with forks or straws after us already being patient and waiting. We can let no sauce slide, alright. The issue is that I was already running late for work after they gave away our order to someone else. We didnāt have time to run inside and grab utensils or straws or sauce or ask for a different drink. I finally make it to work and have to eat my dry chicken nuggets, alright. Then have to man down on this large Mac and cheese with my hands like a fool. Not to mention, had to dump a hefty amount of sugar from the coffee section at my work into my vulgar unsweetened tea. Very disappointed. We were patient and kind the whole time, talked lightheartedly to him. Just dumb. Thankfully the girl who took our order before the drive through part was excellent, very kind, even complimented my tattoo.
Probably wonāt go back to this location unless I have a lot...
